It could be the light in the picture, but Palazzo Dario looks like a candy house.
    Cute.

Santa Maria dei Miracoli is also my favourite! BTW: When you have a noun starting with a vowel, one says, "an", "an object", "an angel"........not "a object", please.

I have listened to all these lectures twice. They are very good but the elastic gets stretched on numerous occassions. Brian Livesey MSc. MRICS. MCIOB

In my opinion The tempest most is about a myth or traditional local legend, in other words a tale from classic origen or medieval/early modern times, either way a tale with moralistic porpoise. So this painting. It is strange to us, we see a mystery in it because we do not know the tale that it represents. But this tale was well kwon by people then. If I am not mistaken, we need to wait till the 19th with the Symbolism Style to see art that it is deliberated misterious and use methods to intrigue you in finding the secret behind. But Barroco, Renaissance, Romanesque and Gothic Art have an strong pedagogic character, sometimes propagandistic, so it not use for them to make art that people can´t understand, the message was always loud and clear for people of the time.
