2 things I've learned about avoiding awkward moments at weddings are:
    1. If you are thinking about making a joke about the wedding night/sex joke, just don't. They are never funny and always awkward to talk about that in front of parents and grandparents.
    2. If you want horses at your wedding but would be upset at possibly seeing horse shit, don't get horses. They WILL take a massive dump at some point

Story 8 reminds me of my family hiking through someone's wedding. It wasn't marked off or anything.
We figured out we weren't supposed to be there and got out of the way. Lol.

I can't help but be surprised by how easily people regard a wedding as ruined.
A horse pooped. Oh no! The entire athmosphere gone, wedding ruined.
A groom and his friends perform a dance but slip on the floor - oh no, the bride is so embarrassed... what a horrible thing to happen...
And the guests who can't wait 15-30 minutes for cleanup/finding rings but instead leave before seeing their friends/relatives being wed...
Come on. Let love loose, laugh a little, and leave the anxiety/sadness/anger for the weddings that truly were catastrophes. I understand that bride and groom are sensitive about their magic day, but guests...? Enjoy weddings, celebrate the couples, and try not to be so critical. A wedding is not to be judged on it's 10 worst minutes! ❤🎉❤

Over the years hosting a public event for Halloween on our property in which the town and some people even travel in from over an hour away to attend, I’ve learned a few things. ALWAYS expect the unexpected. Prepare for every catastrophe. Imagine every way that the people will find a way to wreck everything 😂. Be one step ahead of them and think through every possible situation that might come up, every possible wreck they might make, etc. I basically have to look over my whole display and make darn sure there is NO WAY some kid could get hurt on our stuff or break anything-because if there is a way they will find it. And even though this is meant for our own town and everyone SHOULD be able to just go home to use their own damned bathroom because it’s a small town, every single year someone is like “oh my god, it is an EMERGENCY and WE (or their kid) HAVE to use your bathroom IMMEDIATELY! 😂. This past year some kid’s mom was like “hey my kid has a bloody nose and we need a paper towel!” (The one year that I forgot to bring them outside, go figure) 😂. It’s such a big production that we put on that we’re literally running to get everything done before it starts. There are self serve food and drink stands that must be monitored and refilled as needed. It’s basically a race for the entire night.
