Thanks for the info. My mechanic checked the connections and found one above one box with a little corrosion. Cleaned and fixed. Came back on and off for a day and a half but since about a week of driving,has stayed off. Hope this was helpful. Thanks again!
I'm glad everything worked out. In certain situations, you can save money with a simple patch up, but it might cost you more by going to the shop twice instead of once. It's better to just replace the harness on older trucks.
No, but eventually, it will if you prolong the repair. Maybe after 300 to 400 miles. Hopefully you can still making it home to your mechanic so get empty because it might be a day or two type job at the dealership

Update: cleaned connection only got me a couple weeks. In the end ,still replaced wiring harness.
