"My Goodbye" is the fourth and final song in the Cyclops Saga, the second saga of EPIC. Athena has a quarrel with Odysseus for impulsively giving in to his emotions, which she sees as a foolish decision. Odysseus is angry at Athena about her lack of empathy at asking him to kill enemies to gain victory while he loses those close to him in the process. While Odysseus saw Athena as a friend, she claims here that she only saw him as a mentee and even a tool for her larger plan. Odysseus finally manages to hurt Athena by throwing her loneliness in her face; they continue to argue until both are so fed up that they part ways.

I love the bit where Athena brings out all the dead crew to sing "Just a man". That part is so awesome.
