Diana's voice is surreal at times. I've listened to Diana for years...still can't get over her voice. Diana was only 15 years old here. Rechenka is a good choice, it's haunting, tribal, folk...epic storytelling on top of her amazing vocals.
“Rechenka” for sure! She is 14 and the first of her appearance on this show “You are Super” which she wins. “Wicked Game” video was the 2nd year appearance during a winners competition which she won and then “Can’t help falling in Love” was on her third TV show called “ShowMaskGoOn” which she wins against other known musical artist.
Diana is the eighth wonder of the world and we will never hear such a unique voice as hers in the worlds history. Thanks for reacting🙏🏼🌹💕

Из чего возникает эта атмосфера - таинственная, мистическая, отчасти даже тревожная? Декорации, свет, костюм; точный выбор песни, прекрасная аранжировка в очень правильном - более медленном, чем в оригинале - темпе. А теперь попробуйте добавить ко всему этому богатству светловолосую девушку с лёгким, высоким голосом - и не будет вам никакой атмосферы - а будет просто более или менее приличная кавер-версия популярной песни. Для создания такой атмосферы нужен совершенно особенный артист - и такой артист оказался в распоряжении тех, кто работал над этим номером. У Дианы получаются шедевры именно во время соревнований ,когда она мобилизована ,волнуется,когда эмоции через край ,а также манера исполнения,где минимум пауз,когда нет текста, пропевает мелодию,большой арсенал вокальных приемов,когда практически она в трансе!
Плавает в музыке как дельфин в океане. А ведь новый кавер требует максимум концентрации.

Diana demonstrated many of her vocal skills here. And the guy who took his time to push the button was a famous Russian composer and producer Igor Krutoy. Yes. RECHENKA. This will be Russian Folk song. If possible, you should consider reading the history of this song. To me, Diana becomes the subject/ person portrayed in this story. The emotions she conveys strikes to your soul. At only 14yrs of age, one must be reminded.........she's only a child herself, the depth of emotions she conveys is just pure Artistry.

Я мог бы вдаваться в технические подробности, почему она такая уникальная, но, честно говоря, просто смотрите, слушайте и наслаждайтесь тем, как Диана переносит вас на своем ковре-самолете в другое место! @@lucievreacts Oh I will! I've been following her since she was around 13yo. Diana is a natural Dramatic Contralto so the lower registers are her comfort zone but she now has a 4 octave range and it's increasing. She also naturally sings with polyphonic overtones so it sounds like many voices at the same time!
Diana's birthmother had multiple miscarriages but when Diana came along, she seemed to hate her. She verbally and physically abused her, trying to drown her and belittle her. It all culminated when (at 3yo) she dragged her to a bus stop with a broken collarbone and abandoned her, saying "Survive if you can" A passing relative took her in but because she cried constantly (naturally with a broken collarbone) she took her to the authorities who removed Diana from her birthmothers care and placed her in an orphanage. For almost 2 years Diana never gave up hope and she knew that she was meant for something better. (This story is in her Wikipedia entry) Finally her new mother (Irina Ponik, who worked as a masseuse there occasionally) Signed her adoption papers and took her home. She vowed to pay Irina back for her kindness. Irina had a real struggle because Diana had obviously been badly affected by the experiences and at 5yo, she had a very bad stammer. It was recommended that she be taken for singing lessons to help this and immediately it was recognised that Diana had perfect pitch and an excellent ear for music and songs. 1 year later, at 6yo, Diana was performing solo on stage!
This young unique phenomenon sang everywhere and anywhere she could, working constantly to earn money for the family who rescued her. She was already winning every contest in Russia and other countries that she could get to. Then at 14yo Diana took part in an amazing Russian project "You're Super!" for abandoned/disadvantaged children (because Diana spent time in an orphanage) The 1st song she performed shocked the judges and audience so much, it went viral. This last guy, as you put it, was so impressed that after the contest he bought Diana an apartment in Moscow so that she could develop her talent from her children's aid fund.
It was an unusual show. This is a vocal show for children who were left without parental care, or for those children who had such a page in their lives. At the age of 5, Diana was taken into custody by a new family from an orphanage, where she got to at the age of 3.5.

About the song "Rechenka": This is an old ritual song about an orphan bride. The girl has no parents. The river was considered the boundary between the world of the living and the dead. She goes to the river and asks for the blessing of marriage. She says that there are many people at home, but there is no father and mother. You hear Diana singing in a whisper. These are the words of the deceased mother of the bride. Then the girl is crying. In Russia, at weddings they sang sad songs to scare away evil and the marriage of a young couple was to be happy. Such songs were called “weeping.” The figures behind Diana are spirits of water and forest.
