That’s true, are you naked shorting, you talk about setting up and getting into a trade, but how to exit and close, do I close each of the three trades. Or are they all one trade with one click to sell to close, and if I sell a call which is 2 contacts out of the 2 buy call options would there be a chance that the 2 sell be exercised, what happens if I let it expire will I get exercised on the 2 sell

At 21:34, you said that the bull call spread can turn $4475 into $10K or over 2X the debit….but the risk profile clearly shows that the max profit on that spread is $5525. On call spreads, your max profit is capped. So can you explain how you got a $10K return?
You need to also tell folks about option trading risks! It is very easy for a freak event or bad news to suddenly hit a stock and trigger you big losses. Knowing how to get out is just as important as getting into positions.

A long butterfly is not a risk free position on American style options. There is assignment risk on the short ATM calls, you may be forced into a 200 share short stock position. This would require you to buy 200 shares, potentially at a loss, or exercise your long calls early at a small loss.

Agreed. Hard to learn the lessons you need to be successful in that environment. A lot of 2020 traders thought they were legit until they got wrecked in the tech/growth correction the past year. You can't buy and hold anything but the FAANG or boomer stocks unless you want to hold big bags for years.

Pretty sure it means you can't collect more money than the trade cost. If you have a trade that is 1 dollar wide (say a 100 sell and 101 buy call) then you can't receive 1.01 dollars as it means no loss for you and only a lost for someone else. You have to be able to risk something that someone is ok with buying
That's because the AMZN trade isn't even possible, not using live prices is totally meaningless as far as risk to reward planning, nothing is free in the markets.

Hey Henry, love the videos. Why does it always seem that my premiums are much more expensive than yours? I did the same contracts and strike prices but it is more expensive. And another question. Is the first strategy collecting debit or credit?
I believe it was a debit but I don't rememeber. Also because when I open I guess I start making money on it because it goes in the direction predicted and when I upload a video it's a couple hours later. That's mainly why I have the option signals.
The Buy/Sell amount of an option will be different for every trader mainly because of Time and the current Share Price of the stock. These two things will always directly dictate the price of the option. The only possible way to get the same price tag as another Trader as if you're setting up your options at the same time, literally. Example, if Henry was live. Even then, there's no guarantee the numbers would be the same because there's other underlying factors that influence everything such as volatility in the market like market volume of the stock itself and volume of options contracts. Time & stock price are very big. The Strike price is the only number that does not change with Options, regardless of what changes with the underlying stock or what happens in the market.

Exactly, none of these will show the same risk / reward when the market is open, ex his amzn trade showing all profit, never gonna happen, there is no free lunch in the market.

The only thing i don't get in the BBB case, if the strike price is >=13 but less than 13.5, and the buyer wants to execute the option they bought (2 contracts with 13 strike), we might end up not having 2 contracts/200 stocks. Do we have to have at least 100 stocks to use this strategy?
Delta is the percentage/chance that by expiration day the stock price will be in the money so 0.9 delta is 90% certainty that by expiration date you are in the money It also means that for every dollar that the stock grows you contract will grow by .90 cents x100 shares or 90 dollars(or lose by that amount for every dollar it loses).

Henry, I tried a put credit spread on robinhood with my account less than 1k. It closed my position because it was close to the price. How can i stop this from happening. Instead of letting it expire for a $20 profit, i only got like $5

@@JohnSmith-qe9ll get them with a further out expiration so you can close them yourself when you are satisfied with the profits. Robinhood will pretty much always close your contracts on expiration day, it is what it is

Hey guys, you experienced traders who might be watching, tell me please: I get how to do a good spread like this at Robinhood. My challenge is getting out of the trade. I'm new to this. If it doesn't work for me to just tell RH to close the 4 leg contract, then with my Butterfly spread I've got two sell calls, and two buy calls I need to resolve individually. probably figured it out by now. I am new also. Sometimes I know Robinhood has a Close on the phone app or on web has a close option for credit/debit. Or you have to enter another trade for the exact opposite of what you did to enter the option you placed.
You have no idea what expected move is, do you. Why on earth would you do a butterfly on AMZN, you need to have a base of like 300 for AMZN. It will be a large debit

Robinhood won't let you do the arbitrage since the premium you get must be less than the collateral. It will error out.

All Options require collateral. Depending upon the Option type, Call/Put, Buy/Sell, depends on the type of collateral needed, stock shares or cash.

Premiums are different because the market is closed. Bid/ask moves and changes during the day.

I’d like to find a good options tip team to trade off a well timed tip. I have done very well with some of the random people I follow posting trades to follow. Do you know anyone that’s really decent?

Henry, I tried a put credit spread on robinhood with my account less than 1k. It closed my position because it was close to the price. How can i stop this from happening. Instead of letting it expire for a $20 profit, i only got like $5
Robinhood will close contracts pretty much all the time. They don't want the risk of you getting assigned and not having the capital to cover it
@@MJ-it8ru So how can i do put/call credit spreads with a small account then? I can't cause the profit won't be worth it every week. Im better off going all in on a stock and get a 10-15 % profit every time
@@JohnSmith-qe9ll get them with a further out expiration so you can close them yourself when you are satisfied with the profits. Robinhood will pretty much always close your contracts on expiration day, it is what it is
@@JohnSmith-qe9ll and I dont trade credit spreads, I just never found the profits to be worth the tied up collateral. I pretty much only trade naked options and found it to be much more profitable. Risker, but its worked out for me

Hey guys, you experienced traders who might be watching, tell me please: I get how to do a good spread like this at Robinhood. My challenge is getting out of the trade. I'm new to this. If it doesn't work for me to just tell RH to close the 4 leg contract, then with my Butterfly spread I've got two sell calls, and two buy calls I need to resolve individually. Can you tell me please how to do that?
probably figured it out by now. I am new also. Sometimes I know Robinhood has a Close on the phone app or on web has a close option for credit/debit. Or you have to enter another trade for the exact opposite of what you did to enter the option you placed.

You have no idea what expected move is, do you. Why on earth would you do a butterfly on AMZN, you need to have a base of like 300 for AMZN. It will be a large debit
