Henry, great video. One question -- looks like in the first example you're setting up a Butterfly and the risk profile (max profit compared to max loss) is very attractive, around 10x. But how did you pick the strikes for your upper and lower call buys? The ones you selected made for a huge profit potential compared to the loss potential, but how do you know the probability of the underlying staying within that range until expiration? I tried a few examples in Think Or Swim (not live trades, just setups to see what TOS would say in terms of probabilities), and in the examples I tried, the probability of price staying in that range was around 5 or 6%. That very low probability of success doesn't justify the profit / loss ratio, so I must be missing something. Can you clarify? Thanks

Greetings mate, Most newbies usually undermine and neglect the importance of technical analysis with regards to trading. Technical analysis overly predicts the movement of assets prices regardless of what is happening in the wider or broader market. Essentially, the education involves studying the paths of a particular asset movement in this past so as to establish a sustainable pattern that can be used to predict future movement of an asset. Doing technical analysis can be quite different which is why most newbies / traders neglect day trading their stocks/ coins and stick to holding which is very dangerous as when the market goes bearish, advise any newbies / traders to buy the dip for traders who are still wondering to enter the market or old time traders who are holders to seek help from not just any trader but an established trading expert with at least 96% trade accuracy .I underwent series of trading loses l'd best not talk about before I was introduced to trading analyst..
Question guys. When you open an options strategy with a max gain and max loss. On the expiration date can you let the options expire and will the options cancel each other out? Will my max loss or profit stay the same as when i bought the strategy or will i be stuck with a massive bill?
Can anyone suggest a good platform to do this on that isn't Robinhood? I'm in the UK and don't have RH and every one I've tried that does options doesn't have the simplicity or accessibility of RH. Thanks

Idk why but i feel like some thing went wrong here for me. I did this strategy on AAL and F stock and hit the strike price 3 times, even on exp. Tried to close it to take profit those 3 times and never got to close it early. I even lowered the closing price and still nothing. 1 exp worthless and i only made like $6 off the other one when it finally closed on exp. Instead of $46 that i would of made. Not sure if i did some thing wrong here? Or why was it so hard to close it?
In the clip, you mention 2 standard deviations is about 95%. According to the Bell curve, 3 standard deviations are almost exactly 95%. Two standard deviations are roughly 87.5%. Only trying to fix an inaccuracy - rather than being critical.
Actually, with this kind of play, the losses are so marginal that they should almost be considered non-factors, since butterflies have TINY max losses. That said, you DO have to wait until expiration to reap the benefits of the SHORT contracts, since that's where the money is actually being made. In essence, these will look like unrealized losses and potentially still be unprofitable even if they are right in the sweet spot of the strikes and you still have quite a bit to go expiration wise. You pretty much need to wait for expiration day and hope that the stock is landing right in the middle. I liken butterflies to trying to find a needle in a hay stack - yes, the R:R's look fantastic, but that's because the probability is crap.
@@NexusAeterna Here is the huge issue for debit butterfly or condor, or general credit spread, it is not that simple debit when the stock end up falling inbetween your short and your long. Your short will be exercised but your long will expire worthless, then you are in trouble unless brokerage forces to sell your spread 1 hour prior close, like the certain free commission brokerage does.
Hey Brother love the videos I have one question for people who have been with you for over a year can you do a video on the stocks you recommend awhile back that are getting crushed like Pintest Fastly Shopify plug power Gevo, etc and which ones you are still bullish on
How do you set a stop loss on Robinhood? I know of one way to close at a price where it is at 75% loss or profit or whatever. But how do you know what that price is? If I received let's $100 in credit, that puts the price I got into the trade at $1 which means I want to close it (if trying to avoid big losses) at a limit price of let's say $1.5 which will be a 50% loss... is that right?
What is the difference between the calls and the puts in this strategy? It formed the same Christmas tree. Do you use one for a specific reason as opposed to the other? Thanks

Go to your portfolio. Select the option strategy you want to close, then---> Select "Trade"---> Select "Close"---> Select "Review" Mine used to ask if I was expecting a credit or debit. It doesn't ask me anymore. Yours may or may not ask. It'll ask you to make sure so you don't accidentally close a losing position.
I got caught with put credit spreads Then Nov-----now hit. Market not going in an ^ direction. can I add call spreads to my positions? What happens to my collateral at expiration assuming I'm blown through my put side but I win on the call spread side? Robin hood shows it as separate trades but shares the same collateral. Iron Condor not shown even thou I basically created one. Maybe im wrong?
I’m fairly new to options trading. The first strategy looks awesome but I’m having a hard time understanding what would happen if you get assigned on both sell orders. How would you be able to exercise the long call with the higher strike if the stock price hasn’t reached it?
Yes -- I have the same question. Additionally, are you taking these just for the day, or holding until the expiration date? The "how to actually get the money part" is kind of missing.
I’m a bit confused, on the screen you say and shows 133$ max loss, then say example of 750$ , I would like to know is . Is it 133$ , I could lose more if at expiration if it’s in either side of the Red, and/or if the stock price it pierced the long leg or is the max loss $133. What about if it’s between both short and long leg at expiration, would I be assigned

Can you please help me understand because I want to try this strategy. But you didn't explain, if tsla was to end above your middle strike of 860, wouldn't it be excercized and screw you up? Is the point to let it expire or do you always have to sell to close the option unless it's under your middle strike? I feel like this is an important part of this strategy to understand, am I missing something?

hey @invest with henry how do i select more than one options trade?
What brokerage are you using to do custom ratio? Robinhood?
Hey Uncle Henry! These options are hard to get filled. Do you have any tips?
what platform are you using?
I appreciate you for sharing your knowledge and advise
With respect to the first strategy, if you wish to exit, how would you exit or sell or close your position?
Anyone?
Thank you
@investwithhenry how much is your coaching group?
Is the first spread a Bull Call Spread strategy?
What platform are you using to trade options?
Question guys. When you open an options strategy with a max gain and max loss. On the expiration date can you let the options expire and will the options cancel each other out? Will my max loss or profit stay the same as when i bought the strategy or will i be stuck with a massive bill?
I would also like to know the answer to this.
Question - what is that handy graphical tool you use to analyze your option strategy?
What trading platform do you use?
How do you go about closing the first strategy. Also buying w credit or debit?
Can you close out the bad side of a condor and profit of the other leg?
what software is this?
So for this you need to get level 3 option in robbin hood right?
Can anyone suggest a good platform to do this on that isn't Robinhood? I'm in the UK and don't have RH and every one I've tried that does options doesn't have the simplicity or accessibility of RH. Thanks
Same here :(
Greatest video I have ever seen before. I have been done these types of trade before and it worked
Thanks you for sharing
Hi, What are the 1st 2 techniques called?
Thanks
HI Henry, may i ask which stokebroker firm you r trading?
make sure to close out this strat and not let it expire. Mine got exercised!
What happened then? How much did you put in? Did you profit or lose?
LOL how could you forget to close it out if its ITM?
I was put on hold so I couldnt do any trades till monday.
I didnt have to deposit cash since it balanced out. Made like $40 bucks, but not worth locking in trades (even though its the weekend)
@@mintymus none of the videos explained how or when to close.
@@Antonin1738 Words of advise: Don't follow anything Henry does, he has no clue what he's talking about.
What app brokerage are you using?
what its the diference credit or debit i select debit
Can I do this with NIO?

How can I close the trade? I’m new to options trading. I tried many times it wasn’t filled now now expiration is approaching…
Or why was it so hard to close it?
what level 1, 2 ,3 ,4 on robin hood do you have to be to execute this trade?
In the clip, you mention 2 standard deviations is about 95%. According to the Bell curve, 3 standard deviations are almost exactly 95%. Two standard deviations are roughly 87.5%. Only trying to fix an inaccuracy - rather than being critical.
What is the first strategy called?
I have Webull and I have a small account I don’t know how to do that on my platform.
Should I just go to robinhood?
Henry when I try to execute order in Robinhood it ask debit or credit which one to choose ???
Btw I’m playing Palantir earnings got a feeling their gunna beat
When do you start to cut losses? or wait until they expire every time?
Fantastic channel btw
Why are you not using SPY for covered calls? That is lot more safe rite?
What is the difference between the calls and the puts in this strategy? It formed the same Christmas tree. Do you use one for a specific reason as opposed to the other? Thanks

Great video. What is the first strategy called? 🙏
A butterfly or Christmas tree.
Butterflies! Probably should inform people of the odds of winning on this.
Also Henry, I have a question; if I had $300 could I open 2 Iron Condors?

Hi, May i know what is the strategy #2 called?
Solid video man, love using the types of strategies!
Quick question: Whenever i see amaing options like this, how come they never get filled? They just expire the next day at closing...
All way like my financial advisor, Uncle Henry. Sounds advice for All.
I’m fairly new to options trading. The first strategy looks awesome but I’m having a hard time understanding what would happen if you get assigned on both sell orders. How would you be able to exercise the long call with the higher strike if the stock price hasn’t reached it?
You can exercise the long call at any time
Yes -- I have the same question. Additionally, are you taking these just for the day, or holding until the expiration date? The "how to actually get the money part" is kind of missing.
@@milspectoothpick4119 Scary stuff lol
They expire worthless at expiration. You keep the money and move on. The buy hedges against the sell.. this way you don’t get assigned the shares
What broker/platform is this?
Can someone tell what is the name of the software he is using?
I’m a bit confused, on the screen you say and shows 133$ max loss, then say example of 750$ , I would like to know is . Is it 133$ , I could lose more if at expiration if it’s in either side of the Red, and/or if the stock price it pierced the long leg or is the max loss $133. What about if it’s between both short and long leg at expiration, would I be assigned
Thanks for all your great strategies for options trading!
Is this strategy call the covered call and covered put?

Another great video, thanks Uncle Henry. Why you are not using that massive Buying power you have doing options or you are waiting the dip? don't understand!!
I know RH isn't the best but it is really hard to get my iron condors to get fulfilled any suggestions? I'm doing top companies with ood volume so I'm not sure what else I can do
I tried to buy 2 puts and my order won't go thru. What is wrong with that? Do I have to buy a call also?
Can you please help me understand because I want to try this strategy. But you didn't explain, if tsla was to end above your middle strike of 860, wouldn't it be excercized and screw you up? Is the point to let it expire or do you always have to sell to close the option unless it's under your middle strike? I feel like this is an important part of this strategy to understand, am I missing something?
@Itsinvestwithhenry on Telegram Henry, Can you please explain how the possible assignment scenario works on that Tesla strategy. It looks like one can be assignment 2 contracts and only one is covered. Please explain. Your channel is awesome 👌
Sampled your butterfly strategy on SPY yesterday on 0dte, paid $15 for a 3 lot, made $135, too easy
Good to hear that this works. My longs on SPY is always a gamble.
So basically you can buy a call and sell it at the same time? Does this work on the app?
I can't buy/sell more than 1 option per trade, it says I have to do them separately, is there an account setting I need to change to to do this strategy?
I just came across your channel and so far I test this strategy once and ever since then I have multiple orders for the stocks that I am looking at. One this i struggle with and evidently, wasn't able to take advantage of is the peak of the tree. There were some moments where the stock was trading at the peak and I was trying to sell but it didn't work in my favor. Can you make a video on how to sell when the stock is at the peak of the tree (strategy)? Or can you answer it here? Please and thank you!!!!
Can you make a update video NIO call option strategy video? Thank you!
I really appreciate you and your videos! How do you get these multiple options spreads and ratios on robinhood?

Hey man I’m wondering so what’s stopping people from using these strategies (max gain: $60, max loss: $1) All The Time?
They are only a week only and you can just do thousands and thousands on them, right? The R/R is crazy.
What’s the risk? What’s the catch? Or did you use this and just straight grow your wealth from it.
Let me know if you can man. Great video

the max risk is actually higher if you consider the possibilty of getting exercised if your short contract goes deep ITM (in the money). I suppose that is why you recommend cheaper stocks like PLTR.
