It is short, I mean short short.... lol But this is what we were trying to do. None of the other guys with fast cars are sharing this information, but I'm gonna show you.... This is wild. Austing is also making some progress on the hotrod, check out the injector harness he made.... looking awesome. Please go sub to his channel and check out his facebook page so you can see what he is doing. Thanks guys...

Hey John I don’t know if you’ve already ordered your drive shaft but I’ve got a brand new one from fast shaft that’s around 54” you would just have to have it shortened. If you want to pay the shipping I will send it to you for nothing.
Looks like 34⅜" to me, John boy.. Do you read the tape like a hot rodder or a carpenter?lol My dad says the difference is, a carpenter barely gets his tape on what he's measuring before he snaps it back up, a hot rodder lays his tape out, then takes whatever he's writing with & counts every line past the last whole number while audibly saying "34 and 3 marks past a ¼"!!😂🤣
Also, I think "Wheelie John" has a good ring to it!!😎
Definitely not a carpenter lol
I had a turbo car once. Had to sell it tho. I just couldn’t get comfortable in the high heels and mini skirt. Props to the guys that can do that.
T.J., add a faux wire and the big blue wire nut. Amidst, all the perfect wiring. Coming along, nicely!
This is going to be a badass hot rod! John bout to put small tire no notice.💪💯
From day one, that was exactly what I was thinking on the oil pressure fitting!
Great video TJ .. an idea for your oil sensor location.. run a short branded line straight up and mount sensor to the firewall... .. I would be scared that running those extended connect adapters will crack at the tread base due to long time vibration which will cause an oil leak that would be difficult to find in race trim during a race and even harder to fix .. like I said just an idea TJ
John I know I'm a whole lot like you but I can't wait to see that new car go down the track
That oil pressure rig is going to vibrate and break and spray oil everywhere. I wouldnt make it 3 ft long lol!!
Cars looking great John you can't afford all the same type of fittings you have every mixed match on there.
So excited to see that you have a race car being built. You deserve the best. Hope and pray you and your family are ok. Can’t wait to see you race. Max F
Cant wait for this epic creation
🎉❤IT T.J. SHOUT-OUT FOR ( DRAGWIRE SOLUTIONS) 🎉🎉
John, dont put a pipe or long extension off the oil pressure feed. Run a short fitting and some lines. A longer extension will rattle and eventually crack/fail.
Not if it's stainless
Can’t wait
Hey John go to Lowe's and get a piece of brass pipe with the 1/8th inch npt....then use that black fitting that you guys took off of the allstar fitting.....save some money!!! Put the black fitting on before you try and install into the block.
Looking good TJ 🏁🏁🇺🇸🇺🇸
Lookin good!
I'll be honest I thought you would of went with a Wilson manifold, throttlebody and elbow like randy has! Idk ehy I thought that but it turned out good! Looks great!
Brandon might be able to have that Oil Feed Machined.
Good job bro
You gotta leave the three orange wire connectors on thr TPS.. lol
I want to see the mini lathe and a review on it.
I was thinking a little longer than that but I really didn't get a good look at the distance either
The wire nuts and the zip ties worked well ,, you busted a lot of ass with those zip ties and why nuts
Run an AN line to a manifold for your oil pressure
38” from center to center
My guess was 33 before you showed it
Have one machined out of aluminum stock. Being that long, it will break easy. If u can give me the length, I can make a pipe extension.
I guessed about 40 in
44” drive shaft guess
i was thinking 36 i was close. I do have a question sir. Are you going to put a nice paint job on this one being as nice of a car it is?
36.5
No wire nuts??? It’ll never fly!!!
Short tailshaft?? That is long. But the flywheel at the car centreline then it may be a little short. I have one about 18" long,, Holden 6 front uni and Austin A90 rear. Relieved somewhat for suspension travel. Been in use for 30+ years. Classis speedway Supermod. Some are shorter.
Holy shit! My Foxbody is 47 5/8! 🤣 how you gain a foot?!
29""
That’s what she said 😏
4ft
You. Said. Or. She. Said. Drv. Sht. To. Short. Lol. Look n. Good.
33 in?
48 in
46 in
Almost
36 inches
34.5
36”
29 1/4”
68"
just cut the number in half
401/2
Another one of Big Chiefs tricks is to make sure that the centerline of the crankshaft, transmission and differential all line up perfectly using just a plumb bob.
36
33.25
Damnnn I was exactly a inch off lol
It’s pretty cool to see a guy like Austin who is really a “competitor” with Devin with HCR but he’s wearing his shirt.
I love the car industry, there’s enough to go around for everyone!
There’s a well known small block grudge racer named Mo Jeezy, from around here,(south Alabama), that has a trans am with a beer bottle glued to the wing. It was the first and only one I’ve ever seen and I had the same reaction when he went down the track. Lol. Anyway, man y’all got that car looking good! As a fellow fox body drag racer, I approve!! Gone be bad to the bone!
Amateur....lol...mine is 16"
37 inchs
