For me when Tommy plays everything around me standing still, its only Tommy, his voice, guitar and keyboards, he gets me in the Tommy zone! Nice react Lee!
Gary's version of this from Stockholm in 1987 is my all time favourite. He turns it into a 15 min masterpiece. But this is pretty cool. Tommy killed it. Really did it justice 🤘🏻🎸🤘🏻🎸🔥
💙 One of the most beautiful Gary songs. Goosebumps! I agree with you, there's a lot good guitarist's, a few are outstanding. We have just listened to one of them... 🙏✨
I checked out your Tommy playlist and you haven't done his cover of Gary Moore's "Over the Hills and Far Away" or his original "The Light" yet! 😱 My two absolute favorites! I enjoy your reactions so much and I would love to see you be able to add two more to your "can he do anything?" list! ❤
It’s so beautiful! It touches my soul, the guitar is singing and crying. Love it, thank you Tommy❣️If you one day would make a cover of ”Still got the blues” I would be so happy and grateful❣️🙏🏻
It's an absolute stunning and beautiful tribute to one of his hero's and inspiration 🙌 even down to Mr Moore's double tap on certain notes it's just pure absolute perfection always loved this track especially the extended version on the wild frontier album 👍have a fantastic one my friend stay safe take care all the very best from Scotland to you 👍 👊
@@infin8reactions Gary actually covered it, the original version is on drummer Cozy Powell's solo album "Over the Top" from 1979/80....it featured guitarist Clem Clempson. th-cam.com/video/WrxYisrICKI/w-d-xo.html
I agree with you regarding guitar solos i also prefer hearing those with more feeling rather than brilliant technique/speed. It might be the worst kind of cliché but less is more sometimes unless you ask Swedish guitar virtuouso Yngwie Malmsteen who in an, nowadays in Sweden, classic interview said "i don't understand those who says less is more, more gotta mean more right?!"! Gary did play with lots of heart and feeling and passion. Tommy killed it here he even sounds a lot like Gary and i'm aware he's Tommy's #1 hero! I love the sequences at the empty ice rink it's a homeage to Gary who did a live recording from a ice rink in Stockholm, Sweden 1987. It was never released on lp only on vhs and was called Live at Isstadion (Ice stadium).
Absolutely stunning cover and a beautiful video. This video was recorded and edited by Jens De Vos, Sabaton photographer (he records and edits Sabaton vlogs), this is first time that Tommy had nothing to do with video. Really a fantastic job by Jens

I agree with you that this way of playing the guitar sounds better than just racing as fast as possible. Someone wrote a comment, in another reaction video, that Tommy can make a guitar sing. Thanks for a great reaction, as always 🙂
Tommy plays not just with emotion, but mood. I can pick out his playing over Chris', in Sabaton. And Chris is a fantastic guitar player!! But Tommy turns tone, into mood!
@MerryRose Oh, I didn't mean to imply that the other guys weren't great on their own! Sabaton's current lineup are all top notch musicians! My ear just hears Tommy's playing differently. Years of being around the music industry...

Gary Moore is the reason Tommy started playing guitar. We owe Mr.Moore a huge thank you for that. Naturally I loved the video

This song doesn't need words, Tommy tells the story with his guitar 🙏🎸😍
One of the greattest song where the sound of the guitar is the best . Tommy amazing.

Tommys guitar sings the words for us. Listen closely to what it's trying to say.
Oh yes, not everybody knows how to get the guitar to speak, weep and singing, that takes many years of training to bend the strings the right way!

They both do:) Along with Par's playing, the three create a fantastic musical triptych.

Me too but then I'd have to give it to him because I couldn't replicate what Tommy does 😂😂😂😂
