Kam was probably one of the most underrated pieces of the LOB, he was so quiet in comparison to ET and Sherm and just let his game speak for itself. My wife (then GF) got me his jersey for my first Seahawks Jersey!

Same, but he was loyal to the team that drafted him no matter how bad the team hot and we have to admit he played on a lot of terrible Cardinal teams and that alone warrants every respect someone can give. Because anyone else would've wanted out one way or another
There just wasn't another safety with the athleticism, the demeanor, and the IQ of Kam Chancellor. Injuries derailed him of a longer career but he definitely checks off all the boxes in just 6 1/2 seasons. I believe Terrell Davis and Kenny Easley are the only modern day players that were inducted into the Hall in with less than 8 years in the league.

I do think KC is the second best strong safety but I don't think anyone comes close to first ballot hall of famer Troy. When Peyton Manning was asked how he was going to deal with him he said "I'm going th throw wherever he isn't." And Troy still picked the Sheriff off.

Saddest day ever was when he retired, that cursed Arizona field man. He was the first jersey I got during the LOB era, one of my favorite players. Dudes really feared Kam out there, they knew not to come in the middle or else he would make you pay for it. Our mindset was punish whoever gets the ball, make them earn every yard. I think Spoon is bringing some of the boom back to the defense.
