Joe , I’m sorry to hear your hurting . The joy in your voice has gone and it breaks my heart . The world as we know it has been forever changed . The cruelty we display towards one another is unforgivable. Please know that my heart and soul also are in pain and have been for several years now. My father served in the 2nd para’ out in Palestine in 1945. He witnessed some terrible scenes that made it almost impossible for him to speak about; scenes that are being replicated on an even more horrific scale now. The root of all this evil imho is religion, and the inability of people of different beliefs to accept each other as friends and not enemies.
At least however your impeccable skill shines a bright light on the watch world 👏🏻

A complex watch, fascinating to see how you bring it back to life and beauty. But your thoughts and the song at the end left me in tears. I see this stuff; see those children and the terror, destruction they're living through, and it rips my heart to pieces. I'm with you 100%, and I have no solutions to offer. Helpless in the face of such cruelty and sadness I feel. I understand you find it hard to speak, and you're exhausted. Know that you are not alone, that many like me stand together with you, struck dumb and bereft. :(
I love watching your videos as seeing these watches healed is so satisfying. However, for me it's your voice and incisive and truthful comments that make them compulsive viewing. Stay strong Nekkid!
Not all tinkerers are equal it seems. That's a pretty shoddy effort. It's good to see it treated with the respect it deserves.
We can only hope that all of humanity one day learns to treat each other with similar levels of dignity and respect.

Hey Joe. I'm a huge fan. At the end of your restoration of the 18k IWC you said, walk on with hope in your heart. Are you a Liverpool FC fan? Also, how does one hire you? My mother bought me a Cartier basculante manual wind ref. 2390 for my birthday. She decided to have it engraved for me. Rather than engravingit, he laser etched my initials so that they came up upside down when the watch was inverted. In an attempt to grind it out he made a mess of the back of the case. It also runs fast, but I believe that can be adjusted, because I believe he serviced the watch when he had it. I would live to hire you and it would make a great video due to the mechanics of the case. My mother and I love you content and we both thank you for being such a lovely man at a time when the world really needs that. ❤️

I have nothing to do with watches except I like wearing them. After watching your vid on the Citizen Eco-Drive in a very bad state. I bought one on E-Bay for about 300€ and spend another 300 + changing all the looks and a new movement. Now I have this beautiful watch that I love dearly. What I`m saying is that watching your vids, not only is it so much fun and relaxing it also gave me a deep love for watches and what they are about. Thanx for that good man. I think this was more work than the CARTIER SANTOS and the Citizen Skyhawk Eco Drive.
I'm getting old. That the young people have heart and can see the truth gives me hope that we will be in a better place tomorrow.

When hate is met with hate between governments and ideologies, it is always the innocent that suffer. There are no good guys or moral high-grounds in war...only those who are left. The ugly side of human nature rears its head all too often when simple words and love could carry us all beyond this. The first big-boy watch my parents bought for me was around 1975. It was an Elgin hand-wind with date. The watch had a very similar brown sunburst dial. Seems that brown sunburst was popular during the disco era.
