What is the story about your band name? NYTTLAND, New Land in Norwegian, but you are Russian?
Lyrics are from Höfuðlausn (Head-Radsom - Egil's Saga)
Egil was stranded at Northumbria after he got in trouble with the queen, the king placed a ransom on his head because Egil killed his sons or one of his sons in a battle with ships when he was sailing toward the king and queens residence. While on their island he placed a "knitting pole" or a rune inscribed wooden staff with the head of a mare on top of it facing towards their residence,
When egil was caught in one night, while shape-shifters were trying to stop him, he wrote all the stanza's of Höfuðlausn or "Head-Ransom". The king excused Egil for coming into contact with his might unwillingly and let him go.
