Vegeta- Badman shirt Trunks sword- Missing the light blue jacket with white undershirt from Trunks special Future Trunks Melee- Missing Bojack, Cell saga armor without the ponytail, the tanktop with ponytail and without ponytail like first Broly movie and short hair with saiyan armor. Kid Trunks- Missing the hoodie outfit from second coming and the jumper from Battle of Gods movie Kid Goten- missing the casual outfit he uses and the no long sleeve version of the orange gi Kid Gohan cell saga- Missing the 10 days relaxation outfit and the Bojack movie outfit. The costume selection is disappointing. Like end of z goku end, no cell games trunks, movie 8-9 trunks & gohan, lack of light blue jumpsuit for vegeta to accurately do the half blown off chest to full shirtless from goku black & tournament of power, movie 10 broly. Not a deal breaker but costumes department is lacking with some notable omissions.

The "true ultra Instinct" from the manga was basically just Sign. Goku wanted to channel more of his saiyan side into his ultra instinct which he couldn't do in full UI, an essentially emotionless tranquil state. Thats how i roughly interpreted that move anyway
Super saiyan kale has lime green hair, with one of her bangs sticking up at a odd angle. Super saiyan 2 kale has a darker green hair with both bangs pointing down. This game for some reason didn't adapt the bangs at the angle but the lime green hair is a good tell. Take the xenoverse 2 model for reference. That dark green hair with both bangs down is ssj2. Kale ssj1 is closer to second comings broly's super saiyan. Kales gets ssj2 the second times she goes beserk then control it while they were fighting ssj2 goku together.
They probably didn’t add Caulifla’s ssj and Kale’s ssj2 because transformed characters have different movesets. It probably would’ve been too much to make up moves for just one extra form.

I *really* wanted to see an outfit for Kid Gohan which depicts what we wore during his training with Piccolo in the forest (before the arrival of Napa and Vegeta). It was an orange and blue Turtle Gi and a cool sword). And I know it was a just a one time tv special, but I also desperately wanted to see Future Trunk’s capsule corps outfit from the alternate timeline. It would’ve looked really cool whenever pairing Future Gohan and Trunks. P.S. I didn’t know I wanted to see Trunk’s outfit from the Bojack special until now, but what a great idea! Thanks for pointing that one out. Great video. Relatable commentary.

I really hope they add more great ape forms, like Vegeta isn't the only one who can transform into the great ape like some of the dragon ball episodes is when Goku transforms. like yeah we technically don't see the other Saiyan transform in the show but I don't care they got the tails so they should be able to.
Videl should have the great Saiyaman 2 outfit. I'm also a bit let down that teen goku, kid gohan(pre SSJ), Raditz and Nappa were robbed of their only transformation, unless it's just not selectable for some reason

Ive never seen someone so hype about 5 variations of the same outfit.. there are so many outfits in Z and the movies, I hope they incorporate some later. Not having Bojack movie Gohan or Trunks is a major fumble.
If they add crimson saiyan outfit to Goku black, I know it’s not canon it was only featured in DBH, but if they add that, Goku Black will be my main, I love the fit all black and the mask.
some suits are very orange instead of red, like Goku at the beginning. I'm impressed that Goku's suit from "The Resurrection of Frieza" is redder than the others.
I would love to see Videl from Super, (my favorite version) xeno goku, super saiyan bardock, and Mui Goku with the grand priest fit. ( The last one probably won't happen)
I think it would be great to see Teen Gohan in Goku's Gi like in Bojack Unbound. I was also really hoping that since we have Lord Slug, we could have a variant of Goku with False Super Saiyan with the aura that was a mix of red and yellow. I agree that we really need a variant of Trunks from Bojack and Broly with the sleeves cut off as well. Long hair trunks with no sleeves is my favorite Trunks. I think it would be cool to have the movie variant of Trunks with the light blue jacket right before he travels to the past as well. Maybe for fun, piccolo and Goku when they got their driver's licenses outfits and Goku in his black and orange jacket during the 10 days waiting for Cell Games to begin. Tien in his blue and white outfit during the Buu saga was always one of my favorite designs for him as well. Adult Gohan in his Kai outfit was cool to see in Dragonball Kakarot as well. I'm sure there are others that I am forgetting, but those are the main ones that come to mind.
In accessories from Goku they need to put a Tail Saiyan has a, well, accessory. Even That Tail in ssj tranformations turn golden too, even this is besides is very cool also is useful in custom battles/story!
Why is everyone already writing off that there won't be certain outfits in the game? Especially gohan's. Bojack is in the game and there's a empty slot right there. We will have to earn some, guys. Same thing goes for accessories.
So something this video just brought back to mind. Gohan mastering ss almost instantly could have been a play on his intelligence and study. Toriyama could have done our boy gohan justice if he just leaned into boy genius with super powers and a wealthy friend. Buu arc and me have a complicated relationship
I swear there better be more outfits in this game cause it's missing an absolute REQUIREMENT outfit I had for this version of Gohan from the Bojack movie. I swear it's always the little things that stick out the most to me and this is a little thing that kinda annoys me to no end. As many outfits as they do have here theres a TON missing and very little mix and match of different eras going on like yardrat for modern super goku to be able to do stuff like super saiyan god or ultra instinct with yardrat. Also no history of trunks first super saiyan transformation outfit for trunks which was another must have for me. Man they better have more outfits to unlock than this. Accessories too theres so few of them it feels like a pointless feature to even advertise that accessories are in the game when all it really is is just adding/removing scouters and halos for characters that it makes perfect sense to give them to anyway. You should be able to put those things on literally whoever you want.
The funniest part of me watching this drunk is screaming at the screen whenever you get some lore wrong or cant remember something and then laughing at myself for being a nerd and caring about that stuff

Kinda sucks how we don’t have a Dragon Ball Super variant of Android 18. She has a really cool moveset in Xenoverse, and it would have been cool to see what her Pendulum Bullet ultimate would have looked like in Sparking Zero, especially with Krillin being part of the attack. But since she has the pink tracksuit as an alternate costume, that pretty eliminates the chances.
One thing id love to see in mods or sequels is new models to reflect the evolution of toriyamas art. Early Z Goku and Buu saga Goku should have two different models completely not jusy different outfits. Its definitely a nitpick though

I’m a little disappointed they didn’t do the BT3 thing where SSJ Goku Mid’s hair is different from SSJ Goku End’s hair. Where Mid SSJ Goku has the more wavy hair (like he does on namek against Freeza) and then End SSJ Goku has the more still hair (from android saga onward). I could just not be seeing it but it looks like they didn’t include that difference in this game

If they add crimson saiyan outfit to Goku black, I know it’s not canon it was only featured in DBH, but if they add that, Goku Black will be my main, I love the fit all black and the mask.
some suits are very orange instead of red, like Goku at the beginning. I'm impressed that Goku's suit from "The Resurrection of Frieza" is redder than the others.

I think it would be great to see Teen Gohan in Goku's Gi like in Bojack Unbound. I was also really hoping that since we have Lord Slug, we could have a variant of Goku with False Super Saiyan with the aura that was a mix of red and yellow. I agree that we really need a variant of Trunks from Bojack and Broly with the sleeves cut off as well. Long hair trunks with no sleeves is my favorite Trunks. I think it would be cool to have the movie variant of Trunks with the light blue jacket right before he travels to the past as well. Maybe for fun, piccolo and Goku when they got their driver's licenses outfits and Goku in his black and orange jacket during the 10 days waiting for Cell Games to begin. Tien in his blue and white outfit during the Buu saga was always one of my favorite designs for him as well. Adult Gohan in his Kai outfit was cool to see in Dragonball Kakarot as well. I'm sure there are others that I am forgetting, but those are the main ones that come to mind.

Why is everyone already writing off that there won't be certain outfits in the game? Especially gohan's. Bojack is in the game and there's a empty slot right there. We will have to earn some, guys. Same thing goes for accessories.

I swear there better be more outfits in this game cause it's missing an absolute REQUIREMENT outfit I had for this version of Gohan from the Bojack movie. I swear it's always the little things that stick out the most to me and this is a little thing that kinda annoys me to no end. As many outfits as they do have here theres a TON missing and very little mix and match of different eras going on like yardrat for modern super goku to be able to do stuff like super saiyan god or ultra instinct with yardrat. Also no history of trunks first super saiyan transformation outfit for trunks which was another must have for me. Man they better have more outfits to unlock than this. Accessories too theres so few of them it feels like a pointless feature to even advertise that accessories are in the game when all it really is is just adding/removing scouters and halos for characters that it makes perfect sense to give them to anyway. You should be able to put those things on literally whoever you want.
The funniest part of me watching this drunk is screaming at the screen whenever you get some lore wrong or cant remember something and then laughing at myself for being a nerd and caring about that stuff

Kinda sucks how we don’t have a Dragon Ball Super variant of Android 18. She has a really cool moveset in Xenoverse, and it would have been cool to see what her Pendulum Bullet ultimate would have looked like in Sparking Zero, especially with Krillin being part of the attack.
But since she has the pink tracksuit as an alternate costume, that pretty eliminates the chances.
I hope they add alternate colours because I need that Bojack Movie Orange Gi for SSJ2 Gohan

One thing id love to see in mods or sequels is new models to reflect the evolution of toriyamas art. Early Z Goku and Buu saga Goku should have two different models completely not jusy different outfits. Its definitely a nitpick though
just note something. just because the guy dosent check the costumes on a character does not mean it has no costumes. only that hes lazy to check it. now, if broly dosnet have his regular ssj movie 10 skin it would be a huge bummer for me. also. slug should have a outfit without the helmet on his regular form. to actually see that hes namekian

I’m a little disappointed they didn’t do the BT3 thing where SSJ Goku Mid’s hair is different from SSJ Goku End’s hair. Where Mid SSJ Goku has the more wavy hair (like he does on namek against Freeza) and then End SSJ Goku has the more still hair (from android saga onward). I could just not be seeing it but it looks like they didn’t include that difference in this game
