Luckily in my town the cops are heavily involved in the motocross with its own team and support riding and are pretty cool when it comes to riding as long as you are respectful stay off the roads and do t tear up people property

I remember doing this exact same thing back in the 80's! Running from the police on our 125's and 80's was something we did often! We had cans of gas stashed in the woods so if we got low we could fuel up. The police were always big mad, but many years latter I caught up with one of the cops who had retired at a local bar. He was telling another retired cop about how they used to chase dirt bikes and never caught them. I could not believe my luck LOL!! I went up and told him that I was one of those dirt bikes they never caught, LOL!! I proved it by telling him exactly where they used to chase us. Likewise, I bought him and his buddy a beer and talked to them. Really nice guys. Unfortunately, a few years a go, he passed away. This video brings me back to those days.

Used to do this all the time as a kid until one of my older brothers got into a fight in our front yard. When the cops showed up we were in the garage working out. My mom brought them in and they saw my bike. They asked who's bike it was. Everyone pointed at me. The cop said "Now I know where you live, no more running!" He said the deputies all called me "roadrunner". lol I was like 12 or 13 at the time.
