Any other colors?
I want a black and blue.😂 or red and white.
Red, White, and Blue?...
Whoa, I figured out how TH-cam is shadow banning comments. It through the advert scripts. Ah be damn.
Any chance you can get another pair and get a dude to actually wear them as their workbooks for a few months
high heals for men? seems kinda sus
Those boots look like you typed, "most grippiest boots" into an AI Art generator.
After seeing your comment I tried that on Bing AI image generator: the results were hiking boots with spikes all over, a cross between hardcore logging boots and built-in crampons. 🤣
@@funNactive1subtract spikes add more rubber
They are probably getting these ideas from AI.
I saw a picture of these elsewhere on social media and assumed that it was AI
This whole video is probably ai generated
Timberlands don't own the leather newbuc workboot. Since they didn't use the timberland logo I doubt Timberland has anything they can go after MSCHF for.
"Drug dealers would travel all the way from Harlem to midtown to buy these boots." If you're from NYC you know how funny this statement is.
Explain to us not from NYC
@@genome34 you have to be from there to know just how ridiculous that statement is. If you knew how close everything is in NYC and the train system you'd understand.
You'd think it Timberlake could / would sue , they'd begin with the many copies that look EXACTLY like their boot !
*Timberland. 😂 "Timberlake" is the boy band guy.
There is no where near enough resemblance for Timberlands for a law suit.
He must be an NSYNC fan
Timberland not timeberlake
Somewhere out there, someone likes these and bless their hearts
Ur old.
Bless yours too
they look fun. i'd wear them.
@@lukeshaheenvideo If you live long enough, you too will be old. Please explain the significance of your statement so we all may be enriched.
Belss their hearts ...in the southern translation?
When everybody steps on your timbs and you wanna get them back next time.
AI with a software malfunction tried to design some boots
looks like some bullshit Kanye would wear
These are weird! They look really good on display without someone wearing them… But when someone puts them on they look ridiculous😂. Maybe it’s just the angle of the way the camera was pointing at them that made them look ridiculous. I’m torn 50-50 percent on these.
I tgink when worn they scream "try hard". It's a bit too much, it over sells its weirdness to where instead of novel its silly.
They look like a production error
That cut in half way easier than I thought
The Carhartt vest and Champion hoodie underneath is the essence of New York.
real America couldnt care less about NY
"Real" america would be struggling if it wasn't for the Trillion plus NY makes every year, but go off. @@CaptDavesSportfishing
@@Javierm0n0 FK NY city...NY'ers don't want to go there an neither does anyone else.
@@Javierm0n0 and vice versa. Real america grows and ships food to NY.
@@Javierm0n0 "but go off" what do you mean? And where do you think that money comes from? Does it just well up from the ground in New York? Maybe it isn't that one town supports the rest of the nation. How much oil do they pump in New York? How much agriculture is there? How much coal is dug up? How much manufacturing? Power generation? Do you seriously think that hot take of yours holds any water? If New York dissappeared it would have a negative effect on the nation, if the rest of the nation dissapeared New York would collapse within a couple of days. But do tell me how everyone is beholden to New York for their very existence.
Thanos' chin makes a pretty good work boot.
I'm in the design field and establishing garment design as legally defendable intellectual property is insanely difficult. The silhette of a boot is not like a logo or a trademarked name and in the history of clothing design it is almost certain that someone at some time previously created a garment very similar as yours. Unless the attempt to deceive consumers with a counterfeit can be established, companies and design houses just steal ideas from each other all the time with no consequence.
I'm an artist myself. And I say we're all stealing (or borrowing) on some level.
Been dying to find boots made for bats and vampires. Finally found it!
Rose Anvil does have a review of the Demonia Boots
I hope Rose Anvil makes a Cut in Half Video for the New Balance 574 and also Puma Suede/Clyde.
Great Video like always enjoyed it.
Keep up the Work guys.
reminds me of palladium styler boots more , big cup sole and floppy canvas upper. they got some chunky rubber sole models too.
You're right, I thought looked familiar, you hit the nail on the head.
The inner city origin of timbs making the mainstream jump is the same as Carhart. Drug dealers in nothern cities like Chicago and NYC love having a durable warm coat with a lot of pockets lol. Started in Chicago first, probably due to the proximity to farming communities in the midwest that have always loved the brand.
I do too. I've got some helly hansen and Patagonia jackets. But I'll usually wear my comfy, warm, easy to layer over whatever, with easy to access and use pockets ugly jacket.
Detroit*
They look like something from a £-store here in the UK. To be fair, I'd pay twice that not to have to wear them.
I was thinking the same thing, but not in the UK setting. Like super off brand, super cheap, embarassed to even be seen there let alone wear something from there kind of store. Shoes from a place like that. Here in the US there was a show store like that called payless, and these remind me of that place.
They do look cheap and like they're designed in china
These boots look like they would be in a doge meme simply captioned "mimbrtimbs."
>A more subtle version of this could actually be really, really cool
Adidas shell toes are pretty cool, sure.
2x4 is just hideous…are people actually wearing them? They are laughably ugly
Sometimes you just gotta play the fool, life's too short not to have a laugh and make others laugh
@@zzzetsulive or have self respect. Why be the butt of the joke? What point is there in degrading ones self? That is what it is to play the fool after all. Just a counter point.
@@sinisterthoughts2896what if they do respect themselves and like the boot and just let people wear whatever they want as long as it's not hurting anybody? Life would be boring if everyone liked the same thing
Thanos's boots of choice.🥾🤣🥾
Shaq SHOES BRO! We want to see a comparison between high end older Reebok Shaq Shoes, and the new Walmart Shaq Shoes. Some lady told Shaq the named player shoes are too expensive for a working mom to buy them for her kid, and so he switched to Walmart. We want to know if Walmart Shaq Shoes are any good for the price.

Love your vids very interesting, love from Denmark!
They got the trip proof grip!…😂😂😂😂
Hey Rose Anvil;
I am a professional that works in a variety of environments outdoors, and have been finding these videos to be really fun, informative, and interesting to watch. I especially appreciate the discussions on the history of different styles and companies.
One thing though I haven’t seen yet is a video covering some of the big names regarding Mountaineering boots.
Would be super interesting to see a breakdown of the La Sportiva Nepal , since it’s such a legendary and iconic boot in the climbing community.
Another consideration is the fact that the companies that make this form of boot (Scarpa, La Sportiva, etc)
make footwear that the users life depends on. These boots have to be extremely durable, contend with extreme environments, sharp implements, be study enough to bear the Climber’s load on crampons, and manage moisture well.
Plus, in my own research, finding information on the specific construction of these boots can be tricky, and I am deeply curious how this piece of equipment is designed and built.
Thanks for the great content,
James V
Parody is legally protected.
Parody gets shaky when its a commercial endevor. If its done to profit it isn't expression, it's business. There are lines that can be crossed.
Like the other guy said, you can run into problems once you use it to make money
I like them 🤩
And it seems they are well composed ✨
I love my rose anvil wallet definitely will be using for a long time!!
These feel like a love letter to Timberlands, nice.
This reminds me of the "aye bro, I hard you liked X, so added X to your X!"
Replace X with an outsole on your boot.
I just realised ive had my timbs for 3 years theyre a bit dirty but perfectly worn in
It all started when i worked as a paper delivery guy in the winter and got stuck in a ditch and lost my soles on some cheap 30$ boots
I bought a pair of timbs in pure frustration and have never looked back since that
Ill probably get the pro version next time, as i find myself in more construction, industrial or landscaping work nowadays
Yeah they make a ton of types of Timber Pros (work boot) branch of them. I buy a composite/leather boot that is also electrically insulated solid toes with shank but the things weigh as much as hiking shoes
I legit had the same reaction as the thumbnail to those XD
Lmao the Timberland knight! I did see Adidas Knight last night full windbreaker jumpsuit and all what a label I'm keeping that
I'd be interested in a series on tabis: OG tabis, Margiela tabis, heeled tabis, the tabi timbs, etc
I'd be interested to see videos about some of the motorcycle boots that are designed to look like casual (and even dress) footwear, something like the TCX Hero and other stuff in that category
Sir What is that belt You are wearing at 9:22? It looks so good!
It would be cool for someone to make a sandal with that thick of an outsole.
Please do a video on the Timberland Super Boot the 40 Below and you can do a vs the normal timberland
You have to make a cut in half video of the Converse Geo Forma!!
I watch your videos off and on throughout life but i liked the part where you colored the different parts of the shoe while comparing the two boots.
It would be amazing to see timberland make a more slimmed down version of this idea and just answer to the mschf boot. I’m sure they both could profit off this design very well!
just came here to say, "What in the Lego Land are those!"
I like the fact in Salt Lake City they say 2be4 they same as we do in Scotland, details 😊
Can you make me a pair of boots that will completely ruin my ankles and turn my knees into shredded wheat?
I don't think Timberland could sue them because it's it's pretty different than there are Timberland boots. It's like considered fair use because they maybe took the original idea from Timberland and made it a whole new way so I think it would be fair use.
With Vans and Timberland both part of VF Corp, a lawsuit wouldn’t be shocking
Its the latest and greatest in separation of proles from their money
It's an art boot manufactured in a limited run. It's not exactly something the average proletarian is going to buy. White collar, salaried proletarians might, and I expect the semi-proletariat, petite bourgeoisie, and bourgeoisie will buy them. But selling a piece of art isn't a successful way to expropriate the proletariat, especially compared to the expropriation inherent to the definition of the proletariat viz. their participation in wage labour.
Timberlands themselves are bought by proletarians (and lumpenproles, like drug dealers), but as the video explained, that was because of their practicality as a waterproof workboot.
@@Salsmachev Sure it's a successful means of extraction of wealth. $400 is well within the means of working class folks. Especially since the vast majority have trouble making wise financial decisions. Myself included. Keeping up with The Jonses trumps a lot of common sense. Especially in the working class.
Being a limited run does affect this, I suppose.
@@EmoDKTsuchiya Something like 40% of Americans can't afford a $400 emergency, and you're expecting them to afford a $400 shoe that isn't even a practical shoe?
And even if a Starbucks barista does buy these shoes, that's tiny compared to the expropriation carried out by their employer and their landlord.
If you're actually interested in the wellbeing of the proletariat, I would suggest focusing less on individual consumer choices and more on the structural issues of class conflict.
@@Salsmachev I'm going off what I observe. Plenty of folks I know living paycheck to paycheck still prioritize keeping up the appearances of success. We can't pretend that a fool isn't easily separated from his money. The individual is just as responsible. Especially when it's all to easy to feign ignorance and avoid being honest with ourselves.
That being said, I agree with you. Class conflict is a big issue that conveniently distracts us from the root cause of situations like this.
"are these wearable or just terrible" :D
It can be both.
Timberland is basically the Doctor Martens of the US. The difference is really that Timberland still cares about their quality, even with their Asian production. To get a good Doc, you have to go to a company that used to make their boots for them and the only one left is NPS with their Solovair and Gripfast brands.
V100 with a little bit of boot included.
Please make a video/review the timberland 3 eye lug!
i saw a pair of these in the wild a few weeks ago on the train, i had a quiet chuckle dude was a straight nerd office based construction job pristine fluros never seen dirt or sun
Oh man, no chance to get a lawsuit on these. They can't claim anything on the lug pattern and there isn't much else to rage against
If Timerland still hasn't sued Wolverine, then they won't sue MSCHF
I have several co workers that like timberland but they normally go with the pro version not this style.
😂I am too old for this.
Can you review the hoffman vibram work boots?
The Timberland fad started in Philly. New Yorkers took her to New York from the students that are colleges. I was there I remember.
Rose Anvil should do a Goretex sneakers series. Starting from NB 2002R Goretex and AJ1 Goretexs
I have a pair of Timberlands that are 23 years old and still solid!
My Timbs have a fabric liner along the heal instead of leather. I have the gray pair but I saw a video from 4 years ago where that color still had the leather. Weird .-.
Very awful shoe. 😅😅😅😅😅😅
I can't lie, those look like they're made to be really comfy lol. Maybe not tho with all the rubber on top side of feet but I'll never know that's for sure 😂
Good point, they might get pretty sweaty.
is it already April 1st?
I wear Bates... I believe that they are the best boot for me.
Wow I was superised when I went to check the price of the wallet. Figured it being real leather and hand made I would be pricey but just $125 isnt bad, I was thinking it was going to be $199+
This boot has to be a total troll. Who the heck would ever step out of the house wearing 'em?
I think they look cool actually. but I can't afford normal timbs so yeah. they're definitely not for everyone but if you like to play around with fashion they're nice I think. and they look more usable than wavy vans
People were wearing the Big Red Boots (for some reason). TikTok has an ongoing fashion cult where people wear ridiculous stuff just for views
Do asics gel kayano 14 or Nimbus 9 someday please!!!
When you make Leg Armor from the Barroth in Monster Hunter.
cant wait for SGA to rock these.
It looks sick?????
Can we get a video cutting cabellas footwear, what would be cool is if you got the same model one old and one new and compared them
This is like going back to square wheels.
The wavy baby thing was understandable, vans would lose their trademark if they don't constantly defend it. Weston seems to be the one with his pantys in a wad, simping for his beloved designer shoe company. I kind of hoped it never came up again because he gets so childish everytime he brings it up. Mschf knew vans had to take them to court, so they basically made vans pay for press coverage by basically extorting them. Screw those guys. I like art, but it doesn't justify being a scummy company. But as long as they got their simps who get their edgelord rocks off about "sticking it to the man" while not acknowledging mschf is also the man, they'll continue to make bank being jerks. Childish.
Tim's all season for a55 kicking reason
Dear Rose Anvil, please make quality leather suspenders with the logo on the inside.
They look like they would make for good rain boots
Can you do a review on the Doek Oxford trainer worth the price point
Looks like trash.
I really love these MSCHF vids. It's always fun to see how they reinterpret the classics. Their shoes are definitely never boring and always have this sense of fun. Excited to see which brand they poke fun at (pay homage to?) next.
If you stomp on potatoes they cut fries. 🍟
Got them timbos KitKat wrapped peanutbuddaa outsides ready to scale walls and run up waterfalls
A lot of people just don't understand fashion the way me, and some celebrities do
Timberland isn't the only brand to make that style boot its a really old tride and true Design just the most popular brand making them is timberland when other companies they undermine make the same boot in way higher quality.
Next up is Timberland + Lego collab
Try out the red back terra combat boots
Plz do jim green Numzaan
I so want to wear these😂🤩
Wow I didn't expect him to promote their shoe lol. I thought he was all about good shoes.
Prison boots and I have had more than one pair and never had a pair that I like they all hurt my feet
Please do the Nike hurrache.
With that much rubber, the foot odour could class as a weapon of mass destruction.
Boy said 2x4 boots 😂
I wouldn't even know they were based on Timberland boots if you hadn't mentioned it. They just look like an exaggeration of a typical construction boot.
Y’all forget to mentioned how uncomfortable the time are especially the basic ones … one has to get pro max series for all day comfort
These are rad
I’m pretty sure the reason MSCHF added the hole to the star isn’t to distinguish the design from Timberland. Louis Vuitton has a ,quite lazy honestly, collab with Timberland that heavily features their damier pattern on the uppers and sole so I feel like the hole in the star is more to poke fun at that collab.
