We’re living in a time where it seems as though everyone only looks out for themselves. This should not be said of the followers of Jesus Christ. We are called to a different, higher standard. Ephesians 4:32, says that everyone should consider the interests of others, not just their own. 1 st Thessalonians 5:11 says that people should carry each other's burdens, and 2nd Corinthians 13:11, says that people should comfort one another. In today’s sermon, Pastor Corey utilizes the story of Lazarus’ resurrection from the dead to show how Jesus involved the people who were there to help Lazarus in this miracle by asking them to do two things: "Take away the stone" and "Loose him and let him go".
