Mr. Rally,
I have a specific question to ask. Have a 72 sporty frame that is racked 40 deg I want to put internal steering stops on with a 82 1" stem dual disc +8 over front-end. Ran into an issue, the bearing cups that press into the neck measure 33mm my neck opening is only 30mm. Do u have any suggestions on how I could drill out the neck?
Tried a stepper bit ment for hardened steel/ stainless steel, running at 300rpm with lube and is not getting me far

Line boring would be the answer, or change the headstock, or the design of the stop system I guess
