I've learned that: 1) Batch creating books is way more time efficient than one at a time. I am so much faster than i was at the start. 2) Having proper folders to stay organised is super important to keep track of everything. Its not my favourite part of the process, but it gets crazy messy if i dont stay on top of it 3) If i want it to work, i needed to take it more serious. For me personally, it is a bad idea to take "days off". I get lazy. So I try to do something most days which keeps me motivated to finish the tasks (even if its just half an hour) and move onto the next thing to do
Thanks Kim, so helpful to share learnings :). 3 tips from me are: 1/ There's no point of publishing a book without doing some niche/market research first. You can get 0 sales to a niche that has no interest or else compete against thousands of books and find it hard to get sales. 2/ The book cover is the most important things to get initial sales! Don't publish books with poor covers as you're wasting time. 3/ And I agree with you. ADS!!
Heyyy there! Thanks so much for chiming in. These are great suggestions as well -- especially about book covers. They are super important for sales. :-)
Not true at all. Just did a workshop that covers this more in depth today that I will be making available later this week for you all to learning how to find niches with hungry buyers. More to come…
Inspired by you and started my kdp journey so far no sale😢... one question i want to ask you can we upload same journal cover for different pages book like 100, 160. So on with same cover interior is plain lined dotted journal.... please need your guidance 🙏

Ive been reading the KDP community comments and its got me very worried. Many are saying the books fall apart and don't sell.

Thank you for your info.
Glad it was helpful!
So, basically... you believe we need to spend money to make money?
Yes mam. That's been my experience so far.
