Dose the 97 grand cherokee Laredo straight 6 have the plug in for the code reader? I cant find mine I looked everywhere...
If I'm right. I think its under the hood on the firewall. Not sure though, I've only had pre 96s.

How do I test my 1994 jeep grand cherokee laredo 6 cylinder to find out why the check engine light is on and my battery is reading a high charge
Turn key on and off 3 times then leave key forward. Count flashes. High charge means battery could be going out and alternator is taking over
I just replaced the alternator and battery and it is still getting a over charge
Ty I have the same jeep n mine shuts off sporadically. Turns on fine sounds fine.

What do i do if i have no check engine light? my light does not come on when starting so the fuel pump stays on until the key is off
Matt Barnette no check engine light means your pcm is bad
@@jessejames4721 or maybe the bulb is burned out, cmon man, think basics. Don’t go tell someone to buy a 1,000 pcm when it could simply be a bulb
@@JacobEcret junkyard 50 bucks.... 4 of my zj's needed the pcm replaced. The odds of a bulb burning out 🤣🤣🤣🤣 come on. Dont be so nieve.
