Never considered #1... honestly if its never forgotten in the first place should it count at all. I was once a young Warthog...! No I thought it was going to be Bruno or I2I that would be number 1 before hearing your list. Personally tho I find that I have no real disney ear worms... rather I have random songs fighting for that head space so no one seems to stand out above the rest. Even a few from Pepperanne are in constant flux.
"Friend Like Me" from "Aladdin (1992 film)", "I'll Make a Man Out of You" from "Mulan (1998 film)", "Let It Go" from "Frozen (2013 film)", "Be Our Guest" from "Beauty and the Beast (1991 film)", "We Don't Talk About Bruno" from "Encanto (2021 film)", "Under the Sea" from "The Little Mermaid (1989 film)", "You're Welcome" from "Moana (2016 film)", and "Hakuna Matata" from "The Lion King (1994 film)" are my favorite catchy Disney songs.
This probably needed to be a Top 25, not a top 10. IMO, every Disney soundtrack from the Little Mermaid (1989) to Tarzan (1999) has at least one absolute banger that you can't help but sing-a-long with. It was a decade of musical excellence!
I love "I'll Make a Man Out of You"and all of Beauty and the Beast's soundtrack!! And ofc "We Don't Talk About Bruno" and "Under the Sea" are epic. And Hercules is an AMAZING movie! Oh, and "Hakuna Matata" is SO GOOD!! Ya know what? Almost all of these are the BEST🤣
Everybody wants to be a cat- the Aristocats Bare Necessities- Jungle book I have a dream- Tangled Oo-de-lally- Robin Hood Just around the river bend-Pocahontas When You Wish Upon a Star
I've been out of high school for a long time, but in choir we sang "A Whole New World" and "Under the Sea" every single year. The songs are great, but I'm jaded now.
Funny, Recently I have had “Just Around the River Bend” (Pocahontas) popping into my head arbitrarily for no reason. It’s sad to say that that traditional animation that we all loved about Disney is now owned by other studios and not Disney. They apparently won’t have any of it. Movies like Your Name, Weathering With You, Suzume, A Silent Voice… are gorgeous works and really worth the watch, but i really miss that musical magic that the Renaissance brought us. Maybe instead of wasting 300M on movies nobody wants, try coming back to making the reason why we were fans of Disney in the first place!
Where's "Higgitus Figgitus" from The Sword in the Stone, "Golly what a day" from Robin Hood, "Strangers like me" from Tarzan, and "Why Should I worry" from Oliver and Company. AND THE MUSES ARE AN HONORABLE MENTION?? I'm not buying it.
For me, " we don't talk about Bruno " doesn't make the list there's lots of other disney songs that are far more catchy than that song, most of the honorable mentions are more catchy than that
Two worlds, one family would be my pick 🤩 Also: you’ll be in my heart is sung by tarzans adoptive mother and Son of man by tarzan himself (together with Terk)… so the argument „not sung by a character“ doesn’t count 🤷♀️
The whole soundtrack of Hercules should be on this list, the best movie with the best songs. Also "I'm still here" from Tresure Planet hits just as hard as "Go the distance"
Robin Williams Was Totally A Legend I Just Only Wish He Comes Back To The Living To Celebrate The “100th Anniversary Of Disney (Disney: 100 Years Of Wonder)” With All Of Us & Everyone In The World :,-)
That's kind of the point of the movie. Them realizing they do this because of wanting to please Abuela so much and make their family proud- so they try to correct their wrongs and become better more whole people that the trauma from their heritage and past didn't allow at the time.
Friend like me, and I’ll make a Man out of you, are some of the catchiest songs in disney history. and the one from mulan sounds like one of the most epic too, it feels like one of those confidence boosting songs.
My list 10. Friends on the other side 9. What else can I do 8. Bare necessities 7. Your welcome 6. Circle of life 5. Lost in the woods 4. Surface pressure 3. Make a man out of you 2. Why should I worry why should I care 1. Be prepared
Fun Fact: Jason Weaver the singer of Young Simba who provide "I Just Can't Wait To Be King and Hakuna Matata", originally had negotiations with Disney to get a $2 Million deal for the records but his mother stepped in to change the offer and got royalties from the top charts instead. 😁👍
A pox on you, MsMojo, for not including "The Phony King of England" from Robin Hood on this list! You know, "We Know the Way" from Moana is also pretty dang catchy!
My favorite is Hawaiian rollercoaster ride Lilo & Stitch because I've loved that movie ever since I was a little kid and I still do now and now I'm 29 years old still love that movie 😊😊❤ I just really wanted to say I love hearing the narrator trying to sing the Powerline song because I'm pretty sure she wasn't the only one just trying to sing that I just left that they kept beautiful singing voice at that part that's all I wanted to say you guys are doing a great job with these video keep up the amazing work is everybody stay safe
What about “When I See an Elephant Fly” from Dumbo? It has quite a barrage of delightful anecdotes and puns that are sure to get you humming afterwards!
The Goofy Movie, Mulan and Lion King were always the best. Also all stories that were really talking about fresh concepts for Disney. 98 was the year I was born so Little Mermaid has a special place in my heart it's definitely catching.
While very good, Mulan isn't my favorite Dianey movie, however I'll Make a Man Out of You is easily one of my favorite Disney songs. Aside, from being catchy, it's incredibly motivating.
The world's massive and near overnight obsession with "We Don't Talk About Bruno" is both impressive and well deserved. The rhythm, the Latin instruments, and all the different parts that come together at the end, it's no wonder why this live rent free in so many people's heads.
Lets just be fair here... Almost the entire movie songs list from Lin-Manuel's movies were amazingly well made, and the pair who worked on Lion King had an AMAZING run too I don't think there were more than 10 actually bad songs in the 90's to early 2000's Disney animated films.
One simply does not listen to Powerline songs (or any song from A Goofy Movie, for that matter) without singing along. Same absolutely goes for Be Prepared. It's the only villain song I truly love with all my heart, and it's just so fun to sing.
Re #6: It certainly didn't hurt that "Let It Go" was officially translated into Spanish, French, Portuguese (both the western and European forms of all three of those languages), German, Italian, Finnish, Dutch, Danish, Catalan, Swedish, Icelandic, Polish, Russian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Estonian, Turkish, Arabic, Hebrew, Malay, Japanese, Cantonese, Mandarin, Thai, Vietnamese, and about a dozen others. I think there's a Klingon translation out there somewhere...
When I saw The Little Mermaid in 1989, I am pretty sure everyone in the theater wanted to stand up and applaud. The Disney renaissance officially arrived 🎉
I’m kinda upset that “make a man out of you” was the only song mentioned for Mulan. I personally skip over it and much prefer “Reflection”, but it’s never mentioned when Mulan is discussed. All the other movies had multiple songs discussed aside from the “winning” song from the movie, except Mulan.
6:23 to 7:32 I2I is a definite favourite of mine due to its feel-good emotions & romantic undertones in the lyrics ❤ In fact it's on a inspiration playlist I set up 😊
One of your best Disney tops yet, Ms mojo, the perfect way to start off this week. Happy monday night, take care and God bless you. Greetings from Colombia to you as well.
soo many possibilities, too few slots, is all I can think! "dig a little Deeper: has meaning for all of is , IMHO and then there's " are you ready"..lolz
I just love the Disney songs but i can't change my 5 favorite songs 1. Prince Ali 👑 2. Be our guest 🍽 3. Hakuna matata 🦁 4. This is Halloween 🎃 Well at the 5th isn't a Disney movie but it's very good 😅
The I 2 I one has to give you mad respect for power line! He may be a fictional character but the fact that he didn’t get mad with Goofy, Max and friends being there, and let them dance on stage with him without any problems whatsoever is amazing! I feel like most pop stars would not let something like that slide unless they personally invited them on stage. Power line both didn’t care and even congratulated them on joining in the performance
Howard Ashman was such a talent. It’s so sad that he didn’t even get to see the finished Beauty and the Beast movie, considering we wouldn’t even have that movie without him. Gone before his time.
Or better yet, What Time Is It? from High School Musical 2, We Rock from the original Camp Rock, We're All in This Together from the original High School Musical or All for One from High School Musical 2.
I remember the first time my fiance (now wife) and I saw Beauty and the Beast. As we were walking out of the theater, we turned to each other and said, "That should be a Broadway musical." Glad they listened to us. ;)
While l LOVE all these songs, and yes this is a hard and objective list, I feel like it's criminal to have I'll Make a Man out of You not be in the top 5
Honestly, A Whole New World should be #1 as it was the FIRST Disney movie to win a Grammy. Then you should just go down the list from there. Truly, so many songs that just transformed not only the music world,. but the movie when they debuted.
Yikes. Mulan should've been higher up the list. I don't know a single person who doesn't know every word. Everyone I've been around when it's come on instantly gets hyped and sings it loud as hell. I'll definitely agree with i2i being too five. One of the best Disney songs. Also half the songs from Hercules could've been on this list instead of like bippity bippity boo.

The song let it go helped with coming out as transgender to my father and publicly on Facebook
Whats this! was my favroite, its just realy good
All of them are great songs

Personally tho I find that I have no real disney ear worms... rather I have random songs fighting for that head space so no one seems to stand out above the rest.
Even a few from Pepperanne are in constant flux.
Honorable mention, I agree..
The whole soundtrack for A Goofy Movie went way harder than it had too and I will never be mad about it.
After Today and On the Open Road have lived rent free in my head for all these years.
I WANNA STAND OUT QBOVE THE CROW EVEN IF I GOTTA SHOUT IT OUT LOOOOOUUUUDDDD!BUT SERIOUSLY A GOOFY MOVIE GOES SO HAAARRRDDD
of course yeah, even the choreography of the song Eye to Eye hit very hard
THANK YOU! I just said the same thing! The entire soundtrack needs to be on this list!
My 5 year old requests this soundtrack almost daily and I honestly don’t mind 😂
The opening song from Emporer's New Groove DEFINITELY deserves an honorable mention if not on this list!
This probably needed to be a Top 25, not a top 10. IMO, every Disney soundtrack from the Little Mermaid (1989) to Tarzan (1999) has at least one absolute banger that you can't help but sing-a-long with. It was a decade of musical excellence!
I Wanna Be Like You from The Jungle Book?
Catchiest
I love "I'll Make a Man Out of You"and all of Beauty and the Beast's soundtrack!! And ofc "We Don't Talk About Bruno" and "Under the Sea" are epic. And Hercules is an AMAZING movie! Oh, and "Hakuna Matata" is SO GOOD!! Ya know what? Almost all of these are the BEST🤣
As much as i love Friends On The Other Side, i was more hoping/expecting Dig A Little Deeper from Princess and The Frog would be at least mentioned.
oh, me too! so relevant to us all here in reality!
10:30 "pro-sea arguments" must have delighted all the lawyers 😂
Everybody wants to be a cat- the Aristocats
Bare Necessities- Jungle book
I have a dream- Tangled
Oo-de-lally- Robin Hood
Just around the river bend-Pocahontas
When You Wish Upon a Star
How many songs did you sing? Yes.
How is Powerline not #1, such an amazing song and were still waiting for a Powerline concert.

Phil Collins Tarzan being left off is criminal.
I'd swap out "Make a Man Out of You" for "Zippidy Doo-dah".
Zero to Hero deserves a higher spot than honorable mention.
Honestly I don’t know who is making your lists anymore as they have been completely insane
I personally got stand out stuck in my head over I 2 I
For me, " we don't talk about Bruno " doesn't make the list there's lots of other disney songs that are far more catchy than that song, most of the honorable mentions are more catchy than that
All of the honorable mentions were leagues ahead of it 'We don't talk about Bruno'.
Oliver and Company. The whole sound track.
Actually I thought Moanas "Shiney" was more catchier than Hakkuna mattata.
Anything from goofy movie is seriously underrated especially stand out & i2i
I 2 I doesn’t get enough love
An insanely good song from an extremely underrated Disney movie
Cool List!
I’d be upset if one of the loin king wasn’t first place.
I2I should definitely but top 3 if not number 1
Nah eye to eye should’ve been first common !
I know obviously Powerline was the Goofy universe's version of Michael Jackson and I can see why growing up I used to watch that movie a lot
The first time I watched 101 dalmatians was on a dvd in my bedroom at my grandmas house
To be honest, I'm not fond of "We Don't Talk About Bruno." I would put "Why Should I Worry?" ("Oliver & Company") in its place on this list.
Why should i worry from Oliver & Company should be in this list
Agreed
At least honorable mention 😊
I love it I have it on my phone
100%!! As always this movie gets overlooked 😢
I completely agree.
How did a song from Tarzan not make it to this list? That soundtrack is iconic.
I guess it didn’t make it since it wasn’t any of the actual characters singing it
Two worlds, one family would be my pick 🤩
Also: you’ll be in my heart is sung by tarzans adoptive mother and Son of man by tarzan himself (together with Terk)… so the argument „not sung by a character“ doesn’t count 🤷♀️
@@lemasander4932 IIRC all of the songs bar one (the one where the gorilla plays the drums) were sung by disembodied Phil Collins space voice
This
i love the sound track
The whole soundtrack of Hercules should be on this list, the best movie with the best songs.
Also "I'm still here" from Tresure Planet hits just as hard as "Go the distance"
I'll Make a Man Out of You is a very catchy song.
I like it
I always have to listen to it at least 2-3 times in a row.
It is quite literally a my reflex to sing to" defeat the huns" after hearing the words "let's get down to business"
Anything sung by robin Williams is bound to be amazing
Robin Williams was a legend. Rest in peace 😢
Robin Williams Was Totally A Legend I Just Only Wish He Comes Back To The Living To Celebrate The “100th Anniversary Of Disney (Disney: 100 Years Of Wonder)” With All Of Us & Everyone In The World :,-)
Robin was just the very best
So sad what the mind can do to one's self.
One exception: The Batty Rap, but we're talking Disney here.
OK let’s be honest all of them are catchy Disney songs. And I think everybody can agree.
I agree
All Disney songs are amazing!
@@ngl-imkindastupid I agree with you
I feel like there are some more catchier than others though
no no no make a man sucks I never liked it even as a kid
Why Should I Worry is an Underrated masterpiece i cant but sing along with it
I literally stopped the video to check the song out and I can confirm it was right to leave it out.
Can I PLEASE suggest “Strangers Like Me” and/or “Son of Man” by Phil Collins for the 1999 animated movie?!
Being a woman with three sons son of man is always my number 1 so surprised it didn't even make the list
Two worls is also sooo catchy 🤩🥰
I don't get tghe slobbering over Encanto. They're so loving, but ignore a family member because they don't like his gift. But look how magical we are!
That's kind of the point of the movie. Them realizing they do this because of wanting to please Abuela so much and make their family proud- so they try to correct their wrongs and become better more whole people that the trauma from their heritage and past didn't allow at the time.

I once saw a video with Jackie Chan singing, I'll make a man out of you in Cantonese (I think they said it was Cantonese)
@jakalope-sg8pu Jackie Chan sang it in both Cantonese and Mandarin!
My list
10. Friends on the other side
9. What else can I do

I'm not mad that any of the Phil Collins songs from Tarzan are here, but I ain't happy either
anything Lin-Manuel Miranda writes is an earworm in itself, i swear anything that man writes is catchy
Not The Scuttlebutt song though. That is god awful
You'll Be In My Heart by Phil Collins (Tarzan soundtrack).
I like that too
And "Son of Man."
Fun Fact:
Jason Weaver the singer of Young Simba who provide "I Just Can't Wait To Be King and Hakuna Matata", originally had negotiations with Disney to get a $2 Million deal for the records but his mother stepped in to change the offer and got royalties from the top charts instead. 😁👍

anything Lin-Manuel Miranda writes is catchy
Wait why is I’ll make a man out of you only 7? It’s such a banger! Prince Oli is the Al Ladden song I find myself singing most often.
The only proper response when someone says, "let's get down to business," is "to defeat the Huns."

When I think of catchiest Dumbo songs... The first and only one that comes to mind is:
"Pink Elephants On Parade"

Gutted that 'Almost There' from The Princess and the Frog isn't on the list. That song is definitely the catchiest Disney song to me
Was gonna say "Dig A Little Deeper" for me personally. But to be fair any song from that movie is an absolute banger
Too bad Anastasia is not a Disney movie. In the dark of the night goes way harder then it needs to. It's an awesome song.
Awww, I still love Anastasia! 💗 And you are so right about that song! I forgot how awesome it is.

Was surprised "Let It Go" didn't get #1. It was basically THE earworm of the 2010s.
I thought the same. #6 is WAY too low for that one.
I love “I’ll Make a Man Out of You”! 💞💞

Great list! Sad to see I Have A Dream not here, though 😢
I agree!! One of my favorites from the song. Mandy Moore (Rapunzel) and Brad Garrett (Hook Hand) were cute singing this.
"Bare Necessities" lives in my head since I was a little kid and it won't go away, like, EVER 😂 I think about this song EVERY DAY OF MY LIFE 😂

Mama Odi Dig a little deeper
Louis, Tiana & Prince Naveen: When We’re Human
Savages from Pocahontas is an absolute banger and criminally underrated
