The misses has been nagging me for ages about them Ninja air fryers. Only problem I have is our cubbyhole now resembles a curry's warehouse. Loads of gadgets and gizmos that she swore were a good investment. 🤣🤣 But yeah, great vid Beck.
I have been using an airfryer for years I love it ,I would not use the airfryer under your units it will ruin the underside of your unit feel the heat at the back of the fryer
thanks for the vid becky you are right in the swing of things now hopefully you are a lot less stressed now, great job as always and at least you have only borrowed this electric car and can give it back lol. have a great week ahead.
Hang on....asking your dad to read instructions!!!! It's the 1st thing they chuck into fireplace! My Christmas train set never ran for 2 years! Traumatised I am, traumatised! LOL! Great Vlog love!
Hi,Becks, been driving an ev for nearly 4years, don't do a lot of milage as I'm now retired, but a 9p a kilowatt at night it a no brainer. Love both evs i have had got all the knobs and dials, so easy to drive, and i remember getting a lift home on a milk float in december in the eighties, bloody freezing 😂😂😂
How do Becky... I love your mum!!!! she's fabulous ! I love how she gently brushed aside your driving skills and being tidy. Never try to bluff your subscribers when Mum's around LOL. I think I know who your James Takes after for sure😆 Bimey, how dear were those air fryers. Mine was forty quid off amazon🤣 You chose right getting the Philips air fryer. By the number of ninja's I'm seeing for sale on FB market it looks like folk get rid of them a lot lol. A great vlog and you and your fab Mum make a great partnership on screen. Best regards- Kenny
Thankyou Kenny, my mum is a class act very dry sense of humour as you say James takes after her!! The Philips is great to far definitely happy with my choice. X
How lovely are your Mom and Dad. Nice to see them both on the vlog. I have an air fryer, but only a bog standard one drawer Asda home one, Thought I would try it out before possibly getting a bigger one.
Lovely mum and daughter day out, very envious as I live 200 miles from my mum and dad. Never thought about the air con in an electric car, that would be a deal breaker for me, would need it on most of the time so wouldn't be able to travel very far. Hope the air fryer helps with your coeliac ❤
I have the ninja and I couldn't live without it now like your mum I'm a scorpio lovely people we are 🤗we just get on with things .....I've just done a roast in mine ,saves money and healthy enjoy playing around with your xx

Hi Becky, enjoyed your vlog ,a lovely day with your mum 😊 Electric car not for me ,would never have one for many reasons 😮 Love Teacakes, yummy 😋 Hope your new diet is going well for you 😊 thanks ❤
Thankyou I'm getting there with the diet! There are quite a few restrictions with the EVs I'm terrible at filling up my car with petrol so would probably run out of power constantly!!
Possibly, I'm still sceptical about them my other half have a company who supplies EV safety equipment and there are issues with them which might hinder their popularity! X

It's funny, I eat a lot of jacket potatoes here as well, we call them baked potatoes. I've also never driven and EV. Do you prefer the EV or the gas engine now that you've had a try? Well I guess I better go take a look now to see what Helen and James are doing in Barcelona. Hope you have a lovely week.
I mostly call them baked potatoes too not sure where jacket potatoes comes from 😆 I think I'll stick with a petrol car for now I'd feel too vulnerable not being able to rely on just pulling into a petrol station. Enjoy James and Helens vlog I need to watch it myself. X
I currently drive a Nissan which was bought back in 2010 , automatic, and done 60000 miles, but considering renewing a newer car in 5 or 6 years time when it gets past 20 years old and it's petrol. But not sure if electrical care are reliable, safe, and easy to charge the infrastructure needs to improve and it they are reliable with maintenance will see how it goes, but will need to drive one to see what it's like 😂👍

I did like the EV but Im to old & set in my ways to change to something new but it was so luxurious & obviously quiet it looked great I like Kia's owned one about 5 years - one of my million jobs was in retail we had to approach customers but personally I dont appreciate it Id rather browse & take my time although I do go OTT checking reviews etc online not sure if I fancy an air fryer I know theyre popular but we use a pressure cooker had different varieties over nearly 50 years of married life....good luck with the coeliac diet

Another interesting vlog Becky. I had to laugh re the car when you mentioned hand prints on the windows, It reminded me of a story I heard years ago, of a guy who borrowed his wife's car in the winter. The following morning when she started it up and the windscreen needed demisting from the inside, she found two footprints on the windcreen pointing downwards. I think they seperated soon afterwards. I don't know the full story of your visit to Currys but it did rather amaze me how they have changed. I was a manager in the group back in the 1980's/90's when they had high street stores. They had a six second rule, which was how long a customer should be allowed to wait before they were approached by a member of staff. An awful lot of customers didn't like that, feeling probably rightly, that they were getting badgered. How things have changed in the superstores, you often have to go find a salesperson, with the possible exception if you are in the high price ticket section. Just curious, did they try and sell you an extended guarantee on your air fryer?
Oh no.... footprints on the windscreen 🙈!! Yes things are a little bit more relaxed in Currys now probably for the better (at least for me I hate followed around shops 😆) although when we asked for help they were super helpful. Xx
In the 60's pre Currys, pre-nationilisation each electrical supply co had their own retail busines's. Our's was MANWEB in town. It is not the British model to approach customers univited. Currys today is my go to for eleccy goods. Yes, you have to find an assistant for the final decisive VAR vote. Prefer it.

I understand the business perks with EVs. But hanging on to 8 year old myths about charging is disappointing. That car can charge from 10% to 80% in 18 minutes at the latest Rapid chargers. And they are everywhere now. It can also charge at a lot of Tesla Superchargers. Also, there are another 595 sites across the UK with at least 6 Rapid chargers awaiting power before opening. Putting the radio and air con only takes a mile or two off range even if used for hours. Cars like that can drive 350 miles with one stop of 20 minutes - just enough for a normal comfort and coffee break. People can't seem to break free from the negatives that were around with the first generation of EVs and hardly any infrastructure. Driving an EV these days is easy, silent and smooth. And road trips perfectly possible.
