They should make all the hot wheels cars that detailed! I would gladly pay the three dollars for them all day long if they were main lines with that much detail! It’d be worth it!🚗
Personally, I'm all in on the new Silver line. Obviously, the main reason these are 'silvers' is the lack of Real Riders. But I'm just happy you're getting cars with full tampos - This also means they're great candidates for wheel swaps! That said, I do like that they've got wheels unique to this line of cars.
i like this new silver line. It has delivered some good models with very good execution. The first Vintage Racing Club was tremendous, and this one will definitely be added to the collection. But if I had to pick only one car from this set, it would be a toss between the Toyota 2000GT and the Chevrolet Corvette. And although i like both the Maverick and the Z, i don't think they fit this collection, being old cars fitted with modern aftermarket parts.
Opps didn't mean to add that yet, oh well, mattel is playing a game with the collectors. I don't need the chase I just want the set. If I get a chase then great. I don't like the fact that they don't make a whole case and just make 0 out of 6 or what ever and let people who aren't chasing the chase get the set. I think it's stupid and now I'm being more selective on what to get. I wish they would go back the way it should be and leave the regular collectors alone and let us get the set to enjoy the Hobbie. I just realized I have an ultra red in my collection and didn't even know it! Lol Great video as always. Have a great day 😊
I really like this silver series line. I ordered a case of the first Vintage Racing Club because I Wanted the Camaro (which I did not get), the Benz & the Vette. I love the high quality paint jobs & detailing and the special wheels that they made for the series. What I like the most about them is the metal bases. I'm ok with them not having real riders type wheels, I prefer the metal bases. Metal bases and plastic wheels are good for the track. It is very annoying that if you order a case you are not guaranteed at least one full set. This happened with the first mix of the vintage racing club and also with the Porsche set. The mix you got came with 1 Mustang, 1 2000GT, 2 Vettes, 3 Zs, 3 Mavericks.
I did the same thing. I ordered 3 cases of set 1 and not a single chase though I ultimately kept 1 case sealed. Never saw them at retail like we were supposed to. I ended up buying a few Camaros. The quantity mix is bad. Should be at least 2 full sets per case minus any chase which this set doesn’t have.
The red and yellow racing deco on the Toyota 2000GT is somehow giving me Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona vibes. The '62 Corvette may be the oldest casting of this mix but it started as a Hot Wheels Classics and the Hot Wheels Classics original castings hold up fine.
My local peeps call this silver line Fake Premiums but agree they are in many ways better than the premium car culture line. I really like the Toyota, Maverick and of course the Datsun which was the biggest surprise in that there are 3 per case.
I love these series too. Full detail is all I need from Hot Wheels models - their premium wheels are not that great anyway (although they should borrow some MBX basic wheels sometimes :)) metal bases are overrated in my opinion. One issue with these series - I wish they were not Wal Mart exclusive. Thankfully some seem to trickle into hobby dealers. I liked the Toyota the best, then the Mustang and Z. I got it from Jcar.
My only nitpick: it still needed a classic European car. I mean, if they're gonna do a "vintage" racing set. I would've traded out one of those American cars to make room for at least one Euro sports car. But nice set nonetheless.
Quantity issues: Indeed, very annoying. Pretty similar to short-boxing the Camaro and Porsche 914 and calling them "chases". But if a chase is any car that's less common and therefore hard to find, that Camaro and Porsche 914 could make legitimate claims to chase status.
Very cool castings championdjk
Cool set 😉👍
I like the Mustang the best. But all of them are worthy of adding to a collection.
Thanks for the review!
Great looking set👍
I love the metal base. I don't order cases, I hunt for everything so I like how some cars are harder to find, it's a challenge.
That is kinda cool I suppose. So you get that little dopamine hit when you find something
There OK. Thank you for sharing.
Corvette ❤
I love the whole set, my favorite is the datson and the 2000gt. Haven't seen them yet so I'm not sure if I will pick this set up. I think that metell
I got plenty of extra Datsun Zs and Mavericks. 😂
Would like to find them all. Boss 302 is my favorite and the 2000 GT.

They gotta keep the $1ish gateway to get you hooked hahah

The chase is just a variation of one of the cars in the set. You still get the set without the chase.

The toyota is the only one i may pick in this set.. btw awaiting your video on the AW 2024 release 1

Absolutely agree about the Toyota. Was just terrible there was only 1 per case.
Interestingly I found these at a 7-11 of all places

Hot Wheels Cars Collection
Which one is the chase i alr got 4 of them

The Toyota looks the best!
It is pretty nice
Mix2. Vintage. Hot wheels. Racing. Cars
i like the set, but plastic wheels are a deal breaker for me

Agreed
Like them, haven't seen any of them yet. Want that 2000GT, for sure.
Very unique looking hot wheels excellent video 👍🏻💫💫💫💫💫
