It's already free on PC and you already pay for internet so what's the point of having to pay to use your internet in a console you bought in a game you bought aswell? And if that game is free they earn way more from micro transactions. It feels like they asking for money for something you own even if it was $1 per year it's still sad.

So I believe the subscription-based model will kill consoles well yes I do believe it will, basically if you compare the things you get for free on PC compared to consoles you'll start to realize why am I paying this if it's free on PC, paying for a subscription-based model is not going to be worth it because everything getting expensive to the point that you have to choose food, electricity or heat, console games are slowly trying to get rid of physical copies to go for a digital and there's a few things to add to this but you can catch my drift on this. Plus I believe the Golden era of console gaming started with the PS1 and ended when the 8th gen just started, because with a consoles at that time it was plug and play unless you choose to download on your games on the Wii, PS3 and 360, there were no subscription-based model unless you played on Xbox (plus I blame the Xbox for the subscription-based model and the fanboys that got scammed into it), consoles used to had exclusives that you can only play on those consoles but now you could play those exclusives on PC these days except for an Nintendo, you can use to play online without paying for a fee unless you are on Xbox, consoles used to be a readable price but now they seem to began more expensive to the point they are reaching to low-end or medium and PC prices, back then people don't care about graphics all they care about is the gameplay and story. I'm saying in the golden era of consoles it was more beneficial to get a console back then compared to now, plus these days you don't have to play on a desktop PC to play PC games you can simply play on gaming laptops, steam deck and many handhelds like the steam deck and you are not locked into Windows environment there's also others like different Linux distros as well, basically I'm saying it seemed to be more worth it just to get a PC then getting a console and you can also emulate console games onto PC.

We should start boycotting it instead of just crying but still paying I think every playstation and Xbox should cancel their subcription and boycott sony and Microsoft until they make it free If near everyone does it sony and Microsoft will notice quickly so you can play with the boys FOR FREE

This strategy dosent work. Helldivers 2 is a kick in the mouth. They gonna go multiplayer free or they are done. They dont have the userbase or traction in their virtual shops that they call games. The model dosent work cos its not my property anymore, even a kid understands that. I became the product for PS to have a "breach" on its servers ? They closed PSHOME IN MY FACE. NO REASONS. Just today, i was manually backing up my pc game save files to my hard drive because we all know steam's cloud save is absolute fallacy. Too many people took it for granted and lost their progress. On the other hand, sony's cloud save actually saved my butt once when my PS4 was stolen. Why it's better? Most probably because we're paying for the service. We all hate greedy business models from game companies. But there are pros and cons to everything. Grow up and stop fighting the stupid war.
