yup! They are not done over in Leonidas, and now they are tearing up across Carrollton in Maple Area and Central Carrollton before finishing over there. I wrote a letter to the folks who notified us that they would be working over on our side of Carrollton regarding the need for management, coordination between departments, a timeline and milestone plan with goals and checks. They wrote back a letter that started in ALL CAPS (angry, I suppose, that I had pointed our their total and complete inadequacy to do their work with any ability at all. If the shoe fits ... )... ALL THE MONEY WE ARE PAYING THEM AND ALL WE GET IS A MESS AND NO WAY TO MANAGE OUR LIVES AROUND IT. No one is accountable. All we get are excuses. ENOUGH.

"..no one is accountable. All we get are excuses." Everywhere, with everyone. This is a global thing. Only gets worse from here. No Jesus, no peace. Know Jesus, know peace.

We live in the French Quarter. Not long ago spent close to 4 grand getting the front end of our van aligned from all the potholes. What I notice is what we call 'licorice gravel' that crews keep pouring into the holes. Not an actual repair, mind you: just something dumped in to 'make it nice-nice' without an actual fix...

They do that all over the city, it gravel that comes up after a few weeks, waste of time and resources.

My brother, who lives in Austin, reported a small leak in front of his house and 48 hrs later the street was blocked and the crew was at work. Why such a difference in competence?

Time 045 054 well, the drinking water supply is under pressure in a sealed pipe, " sewage " water isn't going to magically flow into the pipe.

If you don't want services in your yard it has to be under the roadway which apparently was not enough as the demand increased. Keeping in mind that the ground will shift and move. As for them saying that small line provisioning water is hilarious as it won't have enough capacity to provide much for even a couple of houses. Infrastructure is not just roads. Hope it all comes together and gets resolved.
