Hi RR, I had forgotten about this fantastic video until someone just answered my original comment. Hard to believe the derailment was cleaned up so quickly. The whole episode captured my attention for a couple days. I so love trains!
What would be so Interesting is if a person could know the value of these trains. The total weight and such. Did 400B just rolls by? Wish we could know.
My only question is how many cars on that first train? Had to be at least 150. Longest train I've ever seen. I'd hate to be at a crossroad! I'll bet they had to double up after the derailment.
Rockin Randall7788 Really no need to falsely label a video that train enthusiasts would watch anyway. Where did I indicate any dislike for the actual content of the video.? Sheesh what a grouch.
Wow, this was great! I counted 4 engines, then 180 cars, and two more engines at the end on the first train alone! Is that possible? Thank you Randall!
Outstanding catch... Right place at the right time! How many cars made up the consist on the first train? Bonus having Amtrak pass on the inside track. Love the natural sound of steel on steel. Haven't been to the Horseshoe. It must have been awesome being there at that moment. Thanks for sharing. 👍👍👍
Awesome video mate! You even captured a NS Heritage unit, ballast cars AND Amtrak. I say, surely nothing beats this level of awesomeness. Well done!
Thanks airing and sharing the outstanding ' scintillating' force of the Locomotives.Endeavors are prominent.Bliss
Absolutely brilliant video thanks for posting 👍🏻😁
What a day you had...I'm envious.
Nice video This is possibly the best day for horseshoe curve and 9387 caught on fire
I'm from Armstrong county PA....and I love listening to the radio traffic. And those operators totally have the Pittsburgh accent.
If they they need a miracle or something somebody can always get on the phone and make the arrangements!
Talk about being in the right place at the right time..... AWESOME!!
Great video! Horseshoe curve is on my bucket list, but is over 6 hours from me.
Rockin Randell nice job on this video fun to watch scenery beautiful at horseshoe curve.

@@frankjanvari8650 sometimes yes but we run alleghany in manual control from cp conpit to cp gray.
Wow! Awesome catch! Been up there a lot of times.
Even had a CR England landscape container.
Saw the same train with NS 1068 in Robesonia, PA!
That 1st one wuz easily the longest I've EVER seen...
It was long I didn't think it was going to end.
That is unbelievable! Great catch!
Excellent video Randall, probably one of the best meets I’ve seen, awesome work 👍

Glad they cleared all the underbrush back. Much better now.
What is the elevation & or gradient of the " Curve"?
DEFINITELY need to install some curved track greasers or refill any that are there already.
I've been there once and sometimes I had to cover my ears because the squeaking was ear piercing.
Great video....slow your panning down.....😁
@@rgood7788 ...just found you.....was a suggestion ....
...
Nice!
How the hell long is that first train, that’s overachieving!
Neat video. I'd need ear plugs if I was there. I really wish people wouldn't tag all of the cars with crap graffitti.
@@rgood7788 The graffiti gives otherwise bland cars character
They need a Flange greaser here that works !!!!!

@@Mire-Drive Wow! thanks for that. Hard to believe it's been a whole year already. I watched that cleanup for hours.
Talk about being at the right place at the right time ! (haha, I just saw someone below said the same thing !)...
Mayhem ? Orderly procession Yes. I guess trainspotters wet themselves at such overwhelming excitement in their otherwise dull lives

Rockin Randall7788 yeah they are wankers, aren't they. I've never lived in a town without a rail line.

Nice train action.

What's insane about this? I think it's awesome!
🚂👍
Wow! Quite a video! How often do they put helpers in the middle of a train like 10K?
@@rgood7788 Interesting. I've only seen that once before and it was over ten years ago.
