Fun fact about the Solstice/SKY the engine bay was actually designed to have an LS3, but when GM saw the power to weight ratio they decided it was to crazy, so they switched it to a 4 banger, but the LS3 still fits like a glove.
@@FitmentIndustries I have not, sadly I haven't gotten the opportunity. But a friend of mine did, And he was actually able to take down my Grand national with it. Which wasn't a slouch as I had 540 horsepower to the wheels.

I own a 2008 Saturn Sky Redline and I constantly have people asking me what it is. I did a simple tune to it, and personally I think it's super fun to drive with the top down.

Yeah jazz was dope, but after owning one it really killed my ability to take the movie seriously because of how wildly inaccurate it is that the car went the whole span of the movie and didn't break down once.

Same as a Saturn Sky / Opel GT (Europe) full length hydroformed frame rails. Super rigid chassis, great for an LS swap. Basically you'd have a poor mans Corvette. Stop the hate these are great little cars! 😁
A lot of people swap in Supra motors too -- since the 2JZ bolts right up to the Aisin 5 speed manual in the Solstice/Sky really easy. The Kappa cars are totally underrrated, awesome roadsters.
I own a Saturn Sky, and I adore it. I do think it’s better then the Solistice in design & interior. But the community is very passionate, any person I know that owns these cars loves them dearly. This was pretty painful to watch with all the hate towards it.
As a Pontiac Solstice Owner and Enthusiast who was using Fitment Industries to research all the mods I am looking forward to adding, I don't understand the point of this Video. If it is too attempt shame and piss off a potential customer, good job, but WHY would you want to do that?!! I can't see the upside to this Video at all.
The sax is a nice touch 😂 I own an 08 GXP and make no apologies for it. It’s a really fun car to own and drive. If that featured car’s a reflection of the owner, I’d say there’s some insecurities there. Should own it, love it, and absorb the hate to fuel you!
the wheels on these are 5x110 I know the pain of not being able to find good wheels without redrilling, adapters, or hub swaps....its GM and their "compact car bolt patterns"
I bought a solstice and tuned it to make 350 hp and honestly I regret nothing. It’s light on its feet with a surprising amount of power. Holds its own in whatever race you put it in, drag, touge, track, doesn’t matter it rips.
Own a 07 GXP and have never had an issue with it, but then again I got only 39,500 miles on it and I don’t blow it up with unnecessary shit like this guy did 😂
Yeah sorry man.....Imma have to hit a STRONG disagree on that one. And for one reason only, the solstice GXP's are unreliable as all hell. They are a nightmare to actually own. I had one for a while, and it hurt. Like, now it's a neat car arguably, it had some merits, but the unreliability and absurd repair costs are not worth it, not when a Miata exists. Now if you plan to replace most of the solstices parts from OEM anyway, well then, I guess it doesn't matter as much, but stock to stock, it's no contest lmao.

The teuro is the v8 corvette engine that competes with corvette. IT'S the very last solctice.
Poor weight ballance, and I make more HP than the LS1. About the same as a LS2 but with much less weight, and then LS3 and up gets way to expensive.
