I got on TH-cam today about 4pm Australian eastern time. And found a spartan at the laundromat, thought what is going on. You should do them more often
Good Game, the match was over in seven minutes. WG needs to release tutorials to teach people to play, high tier matches are brutally quick at times. The issue is people that go broadside at the lower tiers think they can get away with it at higher tiers, when they can't. The enemy Conqueror is the perfect example. DD players make or break a game, example DD sits in Smoke Screen and gets yeeted by Torpedoes less than a minute into the match, DDs need to learn how to pop smoke and run. Cruisers are sitting behind islands to farm instead of spotting, at least hug the island for some cover and still spot. BBs yolo in and die without any kills, if I yolo in it's usually to get rid of a DD. German secondaries will yeet most destroyers.
But it wouldn't bc the games would get way more stale and boring than they already are where everyone hides behind islands and becomes a meta slave. Skillbased matchmaking does more harm than good. The issue isn't the lack of SBMM. It's the refusal of the vast majority of people learning from their mistakes and continue to do the same idiotic things over and over again expecting a difference result exacerbated by the fact WG sells high tier ships so new players have access to said tiers without learning anything. Remember Apex Legends? Yeah, that game fell off bc of SBMM everywhere. Could argue CoD, but it's the same shit every year with no real innovation happening and every year there is SBMM drama so that does more harm than good. Unfortunately not much can be done unless people decided to learn and not be complete idiots.
The solution might be putting a gatekeeping mechanic into legendary matches .. younhave to play X amount of matches in that ship type in order to play a similar ship at LT. But once youve earned enough elite XP/ship xp for that class of ship, LT gets perma-unlocked. Also, as for matchmaking. Having a priority list for player stats, so that matches are done against players that have a similar number if standard battles, a similar KD, win rate, etc.
@@MrOEFVeteran yeah something like that but with a time limit just in case the match maker can't find enough players with thouse stats so after a while it just throws in whoever if it has to.
Some of the worse players I’ve seen have thousands of hours sunk into this game. A large percentage of this player base lacks basic cognitive skills needed to improve.
They are? I'm currently working through tier 5 and 6 and it's so passive it's sad. Teammates will never try to capture any zones. They would rather sit in spawn for the entire match and do nothing as they watch the enemy team easily kill the Teammates who did push up because they're vastly outnumbered.
One sided matches have been a problem for a long time but seems esp bad right now. It seems to come in waves. May have something to do with the recent update.
If you didn't start that Michelangelo's villain arc with the argument you had you DEFINITELY started it by crushing his team and getting the killing shot on him lol
Ohio never disappoints. The tankiness coupled with that amazing accuracy is what all USN ships should be like...unfortunately I'll forever cope about them butchering my Missouri with that average 1.8 sigma!
You are not alone lol happens more often than not. I actually ended a match with a 1 vs 5 and won. Destroyed 4 cruisers in a Cherbourg and outran a DD for points win
Does anybody know what is going on with the Store since last weekend? Every other time that i log in the Doubloon tab is down...gone...not available. What a way to run a business. there are too many players that play solo, real solo. they dont care about winning. they want to drive to a certain square, and shoot. and if no one spots, they sit there and do nothing. unless WG manages to magically split players between "trying to play the game and win" and "f*** teammates, I have fun doing bullshit", we are at a loss. and that drives me crazy. I dont message players for bad plays. I call them out if they back stab the team with complete non sense. and the answers I get are insane. I wish WG would add a button to report those that lack the social ability to play with teammates or dont even show up. shall they sit in a training room and do nothing 🤬
I wish I could play this game again but sadly my ps4 isn’t working. When I turn it on it turns it self off at the same time. C Does anyone knows what this is
LMAO. So I'm reading all these comments on how wargaming can fix these matches that are 9.0. Or 8.0 Wargaming is the one making the games this way. I hear content creators like Spartan , Aaron, and other always say. RNG this RNG that. So let's think about that for a moment. If it were truly RNG. The odds that out of the thousands of players in a lobby the RNG picked 18 for console and 24 on PC and out of those RNG put 9 god players on one team. And like Spartan says. 9 potatos on the other. Think about the astronomical odds of that happening is. Or...you can think of this. RNG does split the18 players 9 per team. But wargaming picks maybe at random one of those 2 team to have an advantage in the match. This will come as better dispersion for the red team. More citadels for the red team. Better pen angles for the red team. And less of all these things for the blue team. And depending on what team you were put on will determine the if you dominate or get dominated. Now this is an easy theory to claim. So the real question. Why. Why would wargaming do this. I'll explain. So let's say you are a not so good player. But you have lots of money. And you see these TH-camrs playing these cool upper level ship. Even though your skill level can't support you playing at the upper tiers. You checkbook can. So you buy that new AL new jersey and the captain. For 22,500 debloons. That like 70 to 80 in real money. For one ship. You take her out in your first match. If fair and truly RNG. You will get sent home within 2 mins. Because you shouldn't be playing at tier 7 and 8. You don't have that level of skill yet. And now you have buyers remorse. And definitely feel like you just wasted 80 bucks on a shitty ship. Wargaming doesn't want you to feel this way. So it gonna help you feel like a god player at least 50% of the time. Buy skewing your ship in spite of your talent. So now you feel good about your purchase and you are more likely to buy more upper tier ships. And let's face it. That's what wargaming is all about. Raping it's community on 50,60, and up to and over 100 bucks for one ship. Really guys. Just think about those odds of a true RNG system producing such lop sided matched.
And btw. If anyone doubts my match and reasoning. Do the experiment yourself. Take 100 squares of paper. Assign them this way. 10 are level 1 players 10 are level 2 and so on up to 10 are level 10 players. Then throw those 100 pieces of paper in a hat. Shake it all up. And randomly draw out 18 one blue one red one blue one red and so on till there are 9 per team. Then look at what level of player each team would get. On average the team will be mostly even. At time it will sway a lil to good and a lil to the bad the more you run this experiment. But for you to actually get 8 level 10 players on one team vs 8 level 1. Well that may happen once in 100 or more matches. So don't take my word for it. Do it for yourself and see what real RNG is.
@@SpartanElite43 I know ya say that Spartan. But do you know 100 % that it's not the way I explain it. I just find it hard to believe that one or two shitty players can cause a 9 fo 0 match. This same thing would happen in other multiplayer games if it was as simple as you say. Call of duty ,destiny to name a couple. Teams of 6. If one or two players are shit. Yeah they die. But the good players on the team still getting their kills. Why isn't it like that in WOW. Why isn't the other 6 or so players on your team getting their kills. You see my theory is the only one that mathematically works in all cases. I think there are 2 games that are played. Beginning of the game it's set for one team to get buffed. Or it's left alone and those are those great matches that go down to the wire. But no one can prove mathematically that a true RNG system is in place with WOW
