Great review! To my ears the 7hz sounds the 'most neutral' between the other sets compared here. I upgraded mine with memory tips and a TRN modular cable, resulting in more power and 'fuller' sound. Super happy with how it sounds now!

After listening to all of these except hola
The CRA is best sounding overall maybe it's treble is boosted but the bass vocals extension treble mids Everything is really fine it's exciting maybe it's too bright it has better cleaner bass than QKZ x HBB
Wan`er is 2nd not so bassy not bright but vocals are great Overall wide soundstage good separation
QKZ x HBB is little Boomy it's great but not for me I want little cleaner sound with better treble not dark
It's like mainstream earphones bass is good but boomy mids is fine treble it lacks sparkle
7hz salnotes zero is not good lacks bass vocals are laid back screechy sometimes the lower treble
7hz zero is boring to listen sometimes it feels like it's lacking everything mids vocals everything is laid back and it's bright as well boring
I did not buy TRN mt3
I had crinacle CRN and original Zex did not like them shouty and no good bass
Hola must be like Waner SG with less treble
Quarks DSP is excellent much better tuned than 7hz salnotes zero
Quarks DSP has better bass better mids and controlled treble
Maybe I want bit more sparkle but not really
For $15 Quarks DSP is better option then 7hz salnotes zero
Separation soundstage isn't a much of a difference
Quarks DSP has better separation but 7hz salnotes zero has better imaging better placement of instruments
But you can hear any instruments in Quarks DSP and it's tuned Better
Vocals in Quarks DSP is far better than 7hz salnotes zero

Would the Qkz be a good set to compliment the Wan'er? I have the Wan'er, and I love em. Although, I often find the bass quite lacking when I'm in not-so-quiet places. Should I go for the Hbb or would the new moondrop chu 2 work just as well?

I think the CRA is better than the QKZ X HBB, which has too much middle and upper bass for me. Its upper mids and treble are also too muffled for me. The problem with the CRA is its emphasized treble, otherwise it sounds clear and punchy with good resolution. I like a lot about the Wan'er because of its tuning and accurate bass. Also the EDA Balanced and the EDX Ultra are good. I haven't heard the Salnotes Zero, the Hola and the MT3. Maybe I still have to buy the Hola 😄.

EDX Ultra is most ear piercing up top the sssss sounds are very sharp bass is not good lacking punch mids are more forward but shouty but okay
Mele is very good nothing to say about it anyone can take it
7hz salnotes zero boring trash sound lack luster bass even mids and vocals are not good it's laid back
Maybe 7hz zero has best soundstage imaging and separation

Funny, the Salnotes Zero fits my ears like a glove, as if I weren't even wearing an IEM at all. Meanwhile I just got my Wan'er and it hurts my ear, and also none of its set of tips gave me a good, comfortable seal. Yet that's the opposite of what you say in the video.
I wish there was a way to sort of know ahead of time what will fit and what wont, since everyone's anatomy is so different and what's comfortable for some may not be for others. Hope the Hexa that's coming is more comfortable than the Wan'er, or I'll have to resell it

      @VortexReviews1  ปีที่แล้ว +1

@@VortexReviews1 Got the Hexa earlier today and the fit is comfortable and had no problems with the tips and getting a proper seal.
Comparing with the IEMs in the 20 dollar range, which were all that I had tried prior, it's certainly a notable upgrade in technicalities, too. It's not my preferred tuning but it does sound very natural and is very easy to EQ to taste compared to something with weird peaks in the treble like the salnotes zero had in my case. Very satisfied

I don't know much about the Blon BL-03. But Wan'er and Hola are similar in sound, up until the upper mids / lower treble region where the Wan'er is more forward. Vocals will sound more forward on the Wan'er, so it depends on what you prefer.
The Hola seems to be a better value because it comes with a case and a much better cable for the same price. So as far as sound goes, they're pretty equal IMO, just different. But the Hola has better accessories and value.

These newer ones has better mids better treble better soundstage imaging and instruments separation
They will surpass blon Bl03 easily
But blons are still good there's good amount of bass good vocals and nicer treble
QKZ x HBB is close to Blon Bl03 in bass but blon has better mids and vocals even treble is better
