    Edit: This Hydro Flask is 12 ounces, not 12 liters, as stated in the opening of the video.

    Glad you showed how the lid comes apart. It's all about lid cleaning for me. Way too gross and a go-to if they can't be thoroughly cleaned and dried.

    Is the seal good enough that the bottle won't leak if it is is a backpack? Or does it need to always be held "up"?

      I don’t know about the car cup holder. But I do know that all wide mouth lids fit all wide mouth bottles. I’m looking at purchasing the 16 oz wide mouth coffee & that was definitely a huge bonus as I have the 32 oz wide mouth bottle with the basic lid. I don’t want 2 of each lid, either. :)

    This is too much cleaning - too many parts. Is it that hard to just add a handle to the old flip lid? I cannot imagine it would be that difficult. I feel like hydro flask is complicating things. However, I appreciate the review so I know not to buy it. I’m going to wait for them to add handles to the flip lid. Hopefully they will consider it.

    • @Andytheevien
      @Andytheevien 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I am seriously considering buying this product. This new lid with the handle quotes it as "leak/spill proof" where as the old lids says nothing about the possibility of it leaking or not. According byo Hydroflask AU website. Also the old lids and body are on sale. So this is the future of the Coffee flask it seems for the brand.
      Edit: I tried out the lid and it was way too stiff for my liking. Stick with the old lid without the handle. Never had any problem.

    • @johnson7228
      @johnson7228 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@Andytheevien The only drag that I found was as you sip coffee, sometimes a drip or so remains where your lower lip would be. That drip then drops into the seam in between the upper and lower part of the top. Then when you take another sip, those drips end up on your shirt!

    • @mixeddrinks8100
      @mixeddrinks8100 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I would say that the Carter Everywhere is a much better CUP, instead of a thermos that you carry around. it really isn't meant to be drank on the move or even in the car, it is a two hand affair, you got to find a place to sit the cap down, the interior of the Carter cup is way better for coffee though. Also the Carter does not fit in some cup holders.
