In the midst of all the unknown, the thing we should be asking ourselves is, "What does it mean for your eCommerce store?" How can you protect your business from a recession and make it strong when the market is always changing?

Good question and one that I aimed to answer in the video, I still think being financially sound and keeping the business lean are two of the best options as cash flow is what will cause most to fail in these uncertain times.

Why next March? I can't say whether you should or not but do your research and if possible test the market to see if there is any demand.
This isn't advice but most business owners seem to say that they wish they had started sooner.

Thanks for this vid. I’ve set up a local print advertisement service recently as I saw this coming. My thinking is if I can do a cheap enough price (£19 a month) businesses will come to me when their sales drop.
Can I get your advice on how to get clients? Currently I’m spending all my spare hours DMing and emailing businesses. I’ve never done B2B marketing before now. Any tips or methods? Thanks. Hope everything’s going okay for you and your business mate and you’re keeping well.

I'm good thank you and hope you are as well.
What do you mean by local print advertisement? Like a local publication or printing services for marketing materials?
b2b is similar to any marketing, what value are you offering them? what can you do that others can't?
Cold outreach is always difficult as businesses get many emails a day offering services (I know I do) and it takes something a bit different to stand out.

@@EcommerceGold Hi mate thanks for your reply. What I’m doing is across the West Midlands, it’s a freely delivered brochure that businesses can advertise in. Our first distribution area is Walsall to 4,000 homes each month. One advert starts at £16.00. (I’ll link in below.)
Are there any particular marketing methods you think would stand out? I was thinking mail direct adverts but this would cost £85 for just 100 to be sent .
Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Not that I can think of, print advertisement isn't something I have any experience in.
I could see it being a tough sell though as most people search online for things now so they can check reviews etc before using a company and I would image a large number of your brochures will go straight in the bin unfortunately.
