Darkness and Light felt stale, not unlike End of an Empire. Definitely a dry spell that was hot and miss. This new single and his work on Satellites is most definitely a fresh new sound I'm eager to hear more of.

I won't deny that Darkness and Light felt stale, but hard disagree on End of an Empire. It was my introduction to Klayton and I don't know that I would have stuck around if some of his other work had been my first impression instead.

I still prefer his work of 2009-2013 as EOAE felt a bit eh. I enjoyed Offworld and Scandroid so far has been pretty nice, and this one's cool too. And oh boy, Satellites on the other hand.. I understand he has been dealing with a bunch of personal stuff and doesn’t have a fixed studio yet, but not gonna lie, it’s definitely the weakest Celldweller studio album to date. FreqGen is kinda nice nice aswell.
