(I hope I was able to give a sense of time passing in this one! I thought it was fun to break the script up into little segments like this between phone calls. Have you ever had that experience adjusting to a new job though? And you can't stop messing so many tiny things up. Ugh it's the worst. I've always been lucky enough to have someone around, though, who can't bear to watch the mistakes and eventually helps me out. This video goes out to those people, not all heroes wear capes.)

When I was a kid watching CSI Miami and someone got mail and opened a envelope and a huge bomb went off and it came from the small envelope.....I wondered the same exact thing!!!!!! 🤣 To the point Everytime we got mail I had to open it just in case it blew up!!!!

You did a great job on this one! It felt like a more realistic take on the himbo archetype, which I thought was really good. He had such a unique charm and adorable-ness, mixing sincerity and genuine kindness with awkwardness and ignorance, all while still feeling like he could be a real person you could meet. And all of it was supremely enjoyable and very sweet. I love this character, and if you ever brought him back or made another character with similar aspects I'm certain it would continue to be greatly entertaining and cute. Awesome work!

Hey, Champ! I related to this one a lot! Y'see I'm incredibly stupid, to a degree that's too embarrassing to admit to, so this on felt more like listening to myself then someone else! But unlike me you're voice was as calming as always! Also it would be pretty cursed if you named any of your characters Steve!

@girthygear2498 eee that sounds awfully embarrassing. I bet more of us have been there than care to admit, though! With the electric piano I have, I struggled to fin the power button for like the first five times I turned it on. Usually if I pretend to know what I'm doing, I can get by with the appearance of a liiittle bit of grace

this was such a fun change! im a sucker for office-related plots or audios, and the subject being a himbo only made it even better! another round of applause to tanuki for brightening up everyone's day/night! i know i slept with a smile on my face after hearing this one, heh
also can i add that the dialogue, not only in this video but on this channel entirely, is so well-made! it actually kind of feels like im in a professional-like script, and im sure that a lot of people at least chuckled at certain lines! i've heard other audio creators' scripts and such, and all of them are really good, but this channel's scripts are by far my favourite. they have the kind of rom-com hallmark movie feel to them, but in a good way! i'm not sure how much time it takes you to come up with these, or how much time it takes to write scripts and record, but i have to at least praise you for putting so much effort in these! thank you so, so much, tanuki! ❤
@vroomvroomvroom889 Ah I love office-based audios. I had fun writing this one. With my scripts, I always try to make them sound as natural as I can, and I think as a result, my natural speaking voice ends up a major part of most of the characters. They're all just me with a few extra quirks. But it's also important to me to try to get everything to feel warm to listen to. Good vibes. It means a lot to be able to give people comfort and I'm so happy to be doing it!!
The script might not always take the longest but it's easily the hardest part of the process. I'm just too picky. But after that's done, everything else comes so easily. And editing is just fun for me. Thank you thank you for the thoughtful comment

I've said it before and I'll say it again, you're SO good at nailing the little things in your characters, like the stutters and other small mannerisms. I'm a total sucker for a himbo type character, and this one is no exception! I honestly don't have the words to explain how cute that ending was, like UGH I just want to hug him! Keeping the same name for all audios doesn't get confusing. In fact, it keeps the listener engaged into the story more if they have expectations for the character they enjoy and love.

i get the feeling that the listener would simply nod to his words with an amused grin and mock disapproval with every so-called prank, playing along with the fact that his coworker's are indeed big pranksters. and as for the 'URPRETY' message, what would've made it so much funnier is if there were suddenly two 'T's on the keyboard as opposed to one - implying that he had to steal from another keyboard. 'URPRETY' can also be made by just taking apart the top row of the QWERTY layout - with the rest of the keyboard being entirely untouched, emphasising the fact that this is indeed deliberate.
