They may have taken inspiration from the Muhle Companion. Some subtle things like the grip, the scalloped comb, the slots by the pins and sides make it different tho.
Great review Heiko. Beautiful razor. I will have to try some Glysolid soon for my hands. They are forecasting wind chills to about -15 here in the Chicago area on Thursday. Have a great week. 👍
@@Heiko-shaves The zamak chrome Yintal is the one I have. I bought it just for the handle but after trying it decided I liked it better than both my Rockwell and Henson so I sold both!!
Hello Heiko, I’m new to wet shaving and I just discovered your channel ! I have to admit that I’d like to start with a very affordable razor and blades. I hesitate between Edwin Jagger, Merkur 34C and the Rockwell 2c. Astra blade seems very affordable on Amazon. I have light beard and sensitive skin, and I really would like to avoid cuts. Any advice for a Frenchman ? Thank you !
I don't think you can go wrong with any of the razors that you listed. Astra blades are pretty good too. Start out slow, do one pass shaves in the beginning, try to figure out which direction your beard grows. Use very little pressure. Enjoy the journey.
I agree with Keiko. The Muhle R89 is also a great beginner razor. But imo the best of all for your beard (as you described it) is the Goodfellas Smile Styletto razor. Very smooth, you’re very unlikely to cut yourself with it, lovely to hold, and beautiful. A bit more expensive that the other razors. I have very tough beard growth, so it is not efficient enough for me, unfortunately.
Nice shave

You too. Stay warm my friend.
You have to try a 3 piece Yintal. It's almost identical to the DE89 but is usually $11 shipped!
Are you talking about this one? th-cam.com/video/oIwYDdsPU9U/w-d-xo.html
This is a stainless Yintal. I really like it.
