Since you brought it up around 9:50: Bipeds = 2 legs Quadrupeds = 4 legs Insect = 6 legs Arachnid = 8 legs Crustacean = *usually* 10 legs There are more differences between them, like insects have three body segments while it varies for arachnids (Spiders typically have 2, opiliones 1, scorpions 12, etc), but you can generally classify them by the number of legs present. You can also differentiate centipedes and millipedes not by how many legs they have, but how many pairs of legs are on each body segment. Centipedes always have one pair of legs, millipedes usually two pairs but can be more in some species.
19:37 I did lab work for a guy who studied this mycellium at university, was insanely cool. Those mycelium "roots" for lack of a better term are found together with plant roots in approximately 1/3 of ALL plants on Earth. They help the plants break down nutrients in the soil more easily as well as help them to actually absorb those nutrients as well. It's the most common symbiotic relationship on Earth!
Don't the mycelium also transport nutrients around and move poison to kill some invading plants? I thought I heard that but might be wrong about the poison bit.

I enjoy that a developer is trying to bring the complex balance of ecosystem management to a more simple game play. Matt, that betta/house plant aquarium combo you've been thinking about, please think of Mister Finns and stick to Insaniquarium.
what was the other game you played, nature based, where you were relealing cards left and right and had limited turns until the night comes and monsters could appear under the cards?
I really like this game! It seems fun! The bit about mushrooms i true fyi! They connect up roots between trees and help distribute nutrients to struggling trees, its quite fascinating!
Yk there was a great planes simulator that my elementary school made us play on windows 97, i forgot what it was called but at the end of it you had to do a controlled burn to get your plains to come back better then ever. Good memories
Matt still not seemingly realizing everything can auto reproduce, including trees if you buy the upgrade, so he wouldn't need to plant more birch trees or click the seeds to make more of them. Still nice video, and the new content looks great.
Aren't forest fires good (to a point)? Like, they get rid of dead trees and stuff and release a bunch of nutrients back into the soil. That's why some places do controlled burns, as when humans suppress natural forest fires too much and one finally does occur, it ends up being much worse because of it?
Fun Fact: On the west coast of North America, Native tribes used controlled burns to prevent forest fires and ensure new plants can grow. Whites taking their land and not continuing the burns (because they assumed they knew better than the Natives) is a huge part of why California suffers so many wildfires.
I just realized that birds dont sleep in nests they just use them for there eggs and the birds just sleep on trees edit:i also love the poop button name

Well, insects, arachnids, and crustaceans are arthropods and that makes "dry bugs vs wet bugs" meme.
D:
Matt not realizing the fire would spread is such an architect move.
hahaha :'-D
especially in a forest.
🤣😅😂🤣😅

If you garden, take a scoop of dirt from the woods and put it in different places in your garden. The mycelium will grow like crazy.
The mycelium is actually the main body of the fungus, mushrooms we see above ground are the fruiting bodies
Don't the mycelium also transport nutrients around and move poison to kill some invading plants? I thought I heard that but might be wrong about the poison bit.

Reading this and replies under it makes me think that fungi is the soul of forest, when trees are the body of the forest.
The Stickleback had me laughing harder then I should
Me too!
Same here 😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Dude I laughed so hard :D
11:30 Stickleback, took me by suprise @editor😂
Well, that was grand extinction event right there.
That Nickelback playing had me cracking up
Caught me completely off guard 😂
0:23 BP are beaver power from timberborn
Indeed, finally a game that gauges energy properly
yea that what I mean, there is that one game that have 1 braincell to understand what power mean
That lake is like a water park only with brown water instead of yellow
5:40 "Especially if I press the taco-bell button" 😆
Symbiosis between fungal mycelium and tree roots is real and a pretty cool thing!
I love the animals' swimming animations. This looks fun.
Trees: Exist
Matt: BURN!!!!!!!!
listening to matt attempt to say squirrel is like listening to Benedict Cumberbatch attempt to say penguin
Poor Benedict. He'll never live that down. Penglings and pengwings. 😅😂
13:59 were just going to ignore the bear just destroyed your spiderweb?
Looks like it knocked off the low branches, I'd guess that gives you room to plant stuff or something
20:00 like Avatar? more like real life my dude, fungi are wicked
I’ve never heard someone be so excited to have mosquitoes in my life
14:20 "The moose is a 3-pooper" is my new favourite sentence of the week.
I enjoy that a developer is trying to bring the complex balance of ecosystem management to a more simple game play.
Matt, that betta/house plant aquarium combo you've been thinking about, please think of Mister Finns and stick to Insaniquarium.
I love how the ads related to engineering when watching Matt's videos
Happy to watch as always-
Forget fire. Bringing mosquitos into this world was a true act of evil.
Brilliant Idea for a game.. Love it ! Thanks for the review !
day 30 of asking Matt to play Planet crafter again
@Owen_R_scott
Nope, I've been waiting on my subscription, refreshing every second
Day 6(i think) of me saying: you ARE based
Please keep doing this
“Again” why?
@@joshtracy4441
There's a lot of new content since he last played it. I'd love to see a new play through
what was the other game you played, nature based, where you were relealing cards left and right and had limited turns until the night comes and monsters could appear under the cards?
Stacklands?
Use the search?
"real civil engineer card monster"
the Stickleback was good tho XDD
First time when matt dont name the money « quid »
21:24 that's a senzawa reference 👀 RCE is a fellow shrimp (?)
I don't know about that, but it was certainly the first place my brain went.
I really like this game! It seems fun!
The bit about mushrooms i true fyi! They connect up roots between trees and help distribute nutrients to struggling trees, its quite fascinating!
That's nice. You learn something and get to build something self-sustaining
YAY MORE POLY PINE! I love this game so much!
I really live watching you play this
Fires can be incredibly beneficial for many different ecosystems.
Yk there was a great planes simulator that my elementary school made us play on windows 97, i forgot what it was called but at the end of it you had to do a controlled burn to get your plains to come back better then ever. Good memories
forest fires are important for the health of a lot of forests
That chaffinch looks suspiciously like a robin...
Yaaayy been waiting for another episode of this.
5:14 pooing twice a year is diabolical
This game looks cool
Matt still not seemingly realizing everything can auto reproduce, including trees if you buy the upgrade, so he wouldn't need to plant more birch trees or click the seeds to make more of them.
Still nice video, and the new content looks great.
Please play more. This was a really good video to watch
Only thing Matt has to complain about this game is NO PRIORITY BUTTON
Pooing once a year? Bro must got a mad storage unit up in there
Play planet crafter again
A fun pyromaniac game is Little Inferno i remember watching the yogcast play it and then i played it myself. Its adorable
Not gonna lie, I love how matt says Squirrel
some how i can hear the deer saying "SHIKA!! SHIKA!! SHIKA!!"
i don't know, maybe just my imagination
How are there less views then likes
dont we love heuristics
The incident 3.0 oh dear. Let's all talk about it. RIP trees and animals caught up in Matt's disaster
13:15 each you've pressed on the bunny in the air, you got an extra bp. I wonder how high you can get it?
Yes! More hearing Matt's pronunciation of "squirrel"!
That's how squirrel is generally pronounced
@@Rectal_Scattergun not on the coffee drinking side of the pond 😁
@@mojoemurphy oh yeah, don't you guys pronounce it as one syllable. Like "skweeeerl"?
@@Rectal_Scattergun that pretty much nails it 🤣 it's kind of "skwurl"
Yay he posted
How did you get all the new stuff

RCE needs to play Theo Town
As a Canadian I appreciate the Nickelback joke haha
I just realized that birds dont sleep in nests they just use them for there eggs and the birds just sleep on trees edit:i also love the poop button name
Taco Bell button! I'm dying....
That deer is ancient. I think most turtles are younger
The music at 14-15 minutes sounded like a mosquito in my ear 😭
👍😊
Those forest fires reminds me of another thing. Almost like another innocent with some other beavers and poo waters
Man. You do not know what Australians go through.
BP most be Beavlespoint :D
😀 yay more polypine
NGL when the first ant was climbing up the tree i almost smacked my screen
You should build a bridge with that wood instead of burning it.
I skip alot of the silly games u play but this one I like
Both of those deer have antlers. They're both male, Matt. They won't be reproducing anytime soon
hey man
This burning at the end was such a Matt move. Way to go Matt. Lol!
"The Taco Bell button" Straight Facts.
Disappointed Matt didn’t call the bp quid!!!!
They don't fly like poop. The flies (animal) like (adore) the poop.
Insects got 6 legs
Spiders got 8 ✌️
Didn't know I was watching a Bambi movie.
The sticks back fish I have that songh on Appel music
3:18 , i knew its gonna happen
Propulsion? More like POO-PULSION!!!
💥💥💥
Replay mindustry when?
Cool game
13:49: that looks like something else
HELLO RCE
How could you introduce mosquitos and flies to the environment?
0:37 did you really just call it fall?
matt why even allow mosquitoes in this little haven you govern
21:23 Matt, youre british, where english originated
Moose plural form is MOOSE!
The first place my brain went was a Senzawa reference.
7 days to die requires engineering.
An annual poo sounds highly unpleasant. Though very time efficient ...
Dump day is the dream
"poops fove times per year" god i wish that were me.
let's game it out be like:
DAY JAMAY JA MAY JA MAY
Bp = British Pound?
BP British Petroleum
Blood pressure
why do these plants need Beaver Power to grow??
Hello
This games great! "The Taco Bell button".
I don't mean to be old fashioned, but two antlered deer shouldn't be multiplying...
I just play this game for thirty minutes and the game is lagging all the time when there is over hurderd of flowers nearly 500 animals 😂
