- Season 1 Episode 8 | While purging is very necessary to get rid of dead weight and start anew, the process isn’t always easy. You can know that you need to do the right thing, but the right decision doesn’t always feel pleasant. Letting go of people and things that you love and that have been in your life for some time can be very lonely. ❤ OMG Some relationahip damage your soul. Love is a action word and people dont realize how they hurt the people that they claim to love. Hurt people hurt people and sometimes the family cause the biggest pain. I am in therapy from child and adult tramua so that my teenager daughter want need thearpy for something I have done. I was upset with her one❤ day and was about to start my uncontrollable cursing fits and a voice spoke to me sofly and said remeber that you love her. And i was in tears. Please keep doing Gods work.

Sometimes it’s hurtful for people to watch you grow and achieve your goals because they feel like you’re leaving them behind. I’ve learned that recognizing people’s energy is key and should never be ignored.
Wow, this episode was definitely for me. Purging is necessary. I had to cut off a 20-year friendship. It hurt because I really loved her😊
DEFINITELY had to do the same a friendship of over 20 years. I went through death in family and a divorce I notice she did not call to even check to see how I was doing. When she lost both parents, I was that true friend just shows up. Our friendship wasn't reciprocated. I noticed it year after year then I did the Michael Jackson and moon walked away. Purging is good for the soul love from a distance.

2. The way you cheer people on even in your down season will show God that you know that He will do it for you🫶🏽🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
3. If you see that God has done it for them~Why do you think He won’t do it for you? You gotta do the work!! Do a ♥️ check!
4. Look at how people treat people who can’t do anything for them->it says a lot about their character!!

Same for me. When I finally learned to set boundaries, I didn't realize it meant losing people but I had to learn to be okay with that and I am in a much better head space for it. I realized my peace and sanity is priceless!

This episode had me in tears because this is where I am in my life and it does feel sad to lose people in the process. I have been calling it my "quiet" season but I guess it is also purging. Everything you said in this video has been me all my life and it seems like it took me to age 41 to really be okay with focusing on MY peace and MY boundaries. Thank you so much for your transparency and showing us that its ok to be selfish when it comes to yourself.

It so uplifting knowing that I’m not the only one dealing with this “purging season”. It’s a very difficult time trying to navigate through things I tucked away, and things I let people slide with. These videos help more than you know, I have cried laughed and really reevaluated this “I’m healed” version of me , cause no, no I’m not. I’ve been the problem and I’ve just ignored things. I’ve been carrying 6 year old me with me and I’m 30 now and you Crystal, have helped me have conversations with myself I probably NEVER would have. Thank You ! I love you and we see you ! ❤
I’ve learned that ppl are in your life for a season or a lifetime. I’ve lost ppl and it hurt me but I also know Everyone is not going where you are. Great top

This is just something I like say to you, I don’t know where to post it but here , Crystal it take lot for me, say I like that Celebrity they good at their craft and that’s it,but when you came on the seen it wasn’t like that your Spirit and personality penetrated through and I said this person is for real and then ppl that met you in person said what I was thinking, that’s when I said I wii be a fan of hers ( just a sweetheart) when they go negative I stay on track post positive give you your verbal flowers, but truly Trinity made me a believer with what he said about you. I love the way you acknowledge the man too, you are just a breath of fresh air, continue to be blessed and congratulations to all your success and I continue love you from distance. Yup. I let go a 7yr old bff 6yrs ago. Best decision I ever made, it was necessary and no further convo was needed at that point. Since her, it's been extremely easy to purge ppl of your space and peace of mind. God has blessed us with the act of discernment and intuition. The moment I became in tuned with mine was the day i started healing from pleasing ppl a d more pleasing to myself n peace. Right now every new yrs resolution since 6yrs ago has been,to ensure, I protect my inner peace, best decision to date that I've been consistent with for these yrs now. I love you Crystal❤❤❤
This is so timely. I found myself holding on to relationships that silently hurt me. I did not hold people accountable for the energy that was projected when I shared my highs and dreams. I started resenting my relationships and now I feel like I am battling to show up again and to connect and share with those I never spoke up against.🥺
Crystal! Whewwwww! I am definitely in my purging season. As lonely as it gets, I know that it is necessary. I have two very genuine friends that I will move mountains for because I know that they would do the same for me. However, there were people in my circle that served me no good. 😩 To be honest, idk why I’m was holding on to these friendships. I am very big on loving people from a distance. I love my peace and I enjoy my peaceful life. THEY CAN GO, literally! lol

I love this podcast so much. I have been struggling with pleasing everybody else, but myself and when to cut off a friendship that does not serve me. This actually helped me gain clarity of believing people when they show you who they are the first time. Stop making excuses for these people. All we are doing is enabling them from taking accountability and hurting ourselves. So thank you so much Crystal for sharing your experiences with us.
I resonated with this so much. I ended a 28 year friendship October 2022. Sometimes someone will ask me about her and I’ll have moments where I wish we were in a better place. But I know I made the right decision ending our friendship. Truthfully she was never the friend to me I was to her and I feel she was never my friend, we just knew each other a long time. And in this season I’ve realized it’s okay to outgrow people.

I knew you were a Libra! We’re real big on protecting our peace because we’re such non-confrontational. Natural people pleasers and just SO loving and understanding so when someone continues to cross us or disrespect our boundaries, it a hell no sweetie. Time to step back!

If you're thinking about your friend, I'm sure they have the same moments of thinking of you too. I know that it's hard letting go. I too just recently ended a 25+yr friendship and a relationship with a family member-because of some of the same reasons! It wasn't easy but it was super necessary.
It's definitely hard to let people go but at the same time I am protecting my peace. If I let someone go I have already probably given them a ton of chances and expressed myself. So I have to find peace in the fact that, that person or people were only in my life for a season and not a lifetime. I still will wish them well but just not causing distribution in my life.

Same here… I let go of a 20 year friendship. She was always in competition with me and really was never happy for me. It hurt, but it had to be done. I always had her back, but never had mine unless it was something in it for her.

Thank you , Thank you my Beautiful Sister I’ve dealt with so much I lost so call friends, divorce, I lost my best friend for over 20 years in death that I miss so much then I had another close friend that detached from me that I literally been close with since age 16 !! But God gives and he will remove anyone from your life that’s draining you , using you or not loving you in the same Love that you reciprocate back ! As u, I've learned over the years when we open the door of our ❤ 2 welcome GOD n HE will keep that door open 2 allow things/people n our life (HE sees unaligned wit our purpose)2 Exit. & when most of these unpurposed things/people leave its usually painful 4 us because we're so accustomed/addicted 2them being around(whether rite 4 us or Not). Often we've sensed when their reason/season has expired & time2 let go(especially with Frienemies & family) but we let our emotions over-ride our gut intuition & continue2 drag them along anyway just like bf/gf we keep ignoring their ⛳ then act shocked when we've allowed them2 hurt our feelings or disrespect us . We c & hear when people show us their authentic selves but we choose not2 believe or accept Their Truth then GOD has2 step n & tell us Everybody Cant Go & that includes Fam/Frienemies/Bf/Gf/Bff's. When we sincerely ask GOD 2 b our Savior & LORD HE will & begin HIS pruning/Purge/Santification process n our life 2 get rid of the trash/weeds/distractions/ambiguities that prohibit/slows our growth & focus.
Stay on your Spiritual Journey Queen & let's continue2 ask the HOLYSPIRIT 2 keep & comfort us as only HE can.

Purging forces you into grief

Where I’m at in life as a 41 year old woman. Family and friends I have learned to give the same energy that’s given. Not into forcing bonds and relationships. It’s either there or it’s not. No love lost, that’s it. And I get trying to have everyone love and like you , that was me when I was younger. I realized everyone is not going to love or like you no matter what. And envy is a strong relationship and friendship killer unfortunately.

I definitely understand how you feel…I’ve purged and need to purge again. Some people really only want to deal with you when they are down…to keep you down. Ms. Crystal you are one of my favorites and I love your transparency! Your story is so familiar to me and it breaks my heart when I have to cut off a 'friend'. Now my circle is extremely small and I pay more attention to everything around me. It's a terrible feeling for me to call someone a friend and then you find out years later they were never your friend. I'm even afraid to meet new people because of this. Love this. The wisdom & discernment to know when people are not ready for who you are and your journey with our Lord & Savior. God has given us this gift and even when it hurts sometimes when we use these gifts, it is a blessing for us. When they walk away, we let them go because that is God's way of removing them from our lives ( or personal space) for a reason.
I always wondered why I had sooo much love to give and nobody to give it yo. It was revealed to me that I was trying to give it to the wrong people because they were not deserving of it or would not be able to go where God was taking me.

Omg, this video is right on time for me. I'm currently going through this situation with a friend. I decided to just step away from the friendship to let that friend deal with the issues they got going on. I felt like I wasn't getting the same support from my friend that I was always giving her. I learned that if the friendship is meant to be, it will make its way around again.

Wow Crystal, it sounds like you are telling my story. I recently did that as well. I had to let a friend go that I have been knowing since I was 13 years old hurt me deeply, but it was the best thing for my mental space you have to have people who truly love you and only want the best for you even if they’re not there yet and that is hard for lots of people to do which is why my circle is so small.
