      I'd say that's key to create a classic. Every memorable movie has had as much realism to it as possible. In my opinion it enhances the quality of the acting itself, allowing the actors to fully submerge in the worlds they're supposed to bring to life

    • @niklashelm
      @niklashelm 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@myfriendscallmek2745 Definitely true, the actors immersion is often overlooked, but can be so helpful. Of course a good actor can perform astonishingly in front of a greenscreen, but if you are standing in front of the damn train, that's a completely different feeling.

    i think the movie was rather well done and i loved the actors who played the role. they really sorta became the char they were playing. while it isnt similar to the original, it was a definite new take for me. also the cinematography was amazing. that was the one i loved. also i kinda liked the moustache and i would love to see it again. if u disagree with my opinion, sorry, didnt mean to offend

    I don't care what other people say I think Kenneth Branagh did a great job at his adaptation of this story.
    He even made Derek Jacobe live over the scene in Cairo when he stood in animal much and complained about the imbalance of it and not because of the mess it made of his expensive designer shoes.
    I hope he decided to make a few more if he can, I look forward to seeing them if he does

    That part where Willem Dafoe's character (once again, his character is a dick) talks about how he thinks it's not right to mix the races, just like it's not right to mix wines, and, of all characters, DAISY RIDLEY'S character puts him in his place by symbolically mixing together the red and white wines and saying she likes a rosé--oh, it just makes me want to shout, "Yeah, you tell him, Rey! Everyone BETTER respect your relationship with Finn!" *coos* I'm a shipper!

    I couldn't finish watching this crappy politically over correct thing, and I love Agatha Chritie. I just couldn't deal with all of the race bating. I counted, they said the word "race" over twenty times. Agatha Christie did not write about race relations. The idea that there would be a black doctor in the 1930's is absurd, no matter where he went to school, or who his friends were. People would not have gone to him, period. And the whole segregation, and mixed marriage between him and the governess was just stupid. OK...SPOILER: Thats not even close to what happens in the book. The most likebale character in the whole train is Ratchett, which kind of makes the story wayyy off, because you don't feel like they should get away with it, which is kind of the whole point of This story.

    • @KAvanAlten
      @KAvanAlten 7 ปีที่แล้ว +12

      What an amazing way to elevate the themes of the film and bring relevance. This is how you remake a film today, not replicating the other versions but bringing fresh insight into Christie’s work. Bravo and I don’t think I’ve ever seen such lovely treatment from their wrap moments he seems like a lovely guy all round
