You can see him hurting but still doing an amazing job. Looked like he had a leg brace on under his pants. I know I read he had a cracked hip. What an amazing man. Felt like I knew him. I will forever miss him.
TY for posting the last performances of Tom Petty's. He was one of rock n roll's greatest musician/songwriter/producers and he will be forever missed in all of our hearts and souls. As this song says, I think we all will break down and cry since we've heard the news of his death. I know I haven't ever cried so much about the death of a celebrity. I have loved this man's music for forty years ever since my husband introduced it to me with "Damn The Torpedos" album, (wiping away tears) You left us way too soon Tom. You were only 6 yrs older than me.
Thanks NIni, thank you very much. Tom, thanks for forty years of music and performing and all the wonderful songs and memories you've left with us. Rest peacefully sir, we all love you and are thankful that you never backed down...
thank you for this and a HUGE Thank You to his crew for requesting it. I was there as well and was so happy to be hearing him play it. It's my favorite of his and he really wasn't playing it this tour. wished i woulda recorded it myself as well

This was the 1st Tom Petty song I heard.i was a sophomore in high school. Always loved his music! The world has lost a true rock and roller!
66 and kicking ass til the end!
Josh Colman when he spread his arms and chanted, give it to me, plenty of women still would give it to him!
Legend
Gone a week later, but still lives on. A true musician.
