Wish more people talked about this place. It’s much better than akihabara IMO. You can find a lot of new and rare stuff for cheap. There’s more character to the shops and the staff are mostly locals and big fans of the stuff they sell. This is where I usually go on weekends. There is so much to see and do here and no tourist traps.
Nakano Broadway definitely needs more love. I remember finding manga from as far back as the 1970's in one store. Ikebukuro also deserves more attention, because it has a lot of stores that cater to women otaku. I never got around to visiting(Wanted to check out every store I could in Akiba) but I hope I can check it out next time I visit.
