Seattle is going to the playoffs, and people will be surprised how far they go once they are in. There's a reason MacDonald was the hottest coaching prospect in the league
I hate how yall say they let "Geno Smith pass that many yards" thats so disrespectful that you cant give a guy credit without trying to put him down. Geno is severaly underrated. If one of the rookies put up those numbers you would be praising them
I agree with you that Geno has become underrated, but this is Boston where Geno is remembered more for his Jets days than how he’s playing currently. So yeah, it is disrespectful to him but the way these guys look at it is “the Pats used to destroy Geno Smith! We used to laugh at him! Now look at where we’re at? He threw for over 300 yards! Against the freakin’ Patriots Defense!”
@@patriotsfan122480 the point is I'm trying to call out the "experts" for not doing their due diligence. I think we're past the time of stat reading to determine if a guy is good or not, he needs to be judged in accordance with everything around him.
What dumb commentary. Really, really dumb. You never, ever concede the first possession in overtime. There are no analytics that suggest otherwise. This is a different animal than differing to receive the second half kickoff. In overtime, the first touchdown wins. I guarantee that if you gave up first possession in overtime and the opponent followed by scoring a winning touchdown, the national punditry would roast you for the remainder of your professional career. Cripes, give first possession to a guy that led the league in 4th quarter comebacks last year. A guy that just torched you for 300+ yards.
The Pats were so conservative on offense late that they were handing the game to Seattle. The coaches were complete chickenshit so they deserved the L. I know Brissett isn't great, but you have to at least try to win at the end of the game. They coached afraid.
I felt that was a tactical error. I dont care what the analytics say. If you know what you have to do when you have the ball is definitely an advantage like if you need to go for it on 4th down or not. I believe each team gets the ball at least once no matter what.
7:21 Brisset taking a sack had "nothing to do with the Seahawks" Brother. They are the ones that got the sack what is this east coast delusion about west coast teams? Respect us!
Out coached. Out played. Seattles defense wasn’t the best that day. But they came through when needed. Geno threw a 75% completion rating. Seahawks are a better team. Period.
Seattle is mediocre. Why are 90% of NFL teams overrated? You guys do know that the media is paid to hype up most teams to keep fans of all teams interested? That's how all of them make money, they need lots of fans. Are you all that easily fooled? Most all NFL teams are mediocre.
The dumbest move, I assume out of deference and as a show of faith to his OC Grubb, was leaving 3 points on the board early in the third quarter when MacDonald elected to go for it. That would have given the Seahawks a 7 point lead. The ensuing Patriot touchdown would have only tied the game leaving the Seahawks in control. There would have been no overtime as the 3 points to tie would have been 3 to win. But no one really pays attention. They just mimic the stupidity of the guy next to them accounting it for friendship.
Here's a thought; the whole league is taking about 2 points: 1. Offensive line sucks 2. How bad the QBs are in the league Why doesn't the league take note of Geno Smith? Im sure after 2 or 3 years of floundering in NY people called Smith a bust- just like 85% of the league. Geno was no different than so many other talented first round picks who are traded away or cut after 5 years. Smith has been a back up for 6 or 7 years before the Wilson trade and has done a very solid job. I really believe there is NOT a talent issue rather than a PATIENCE issue in the NFL. I'M willing to bet there's at least 25 qbs who have the talent AND INTELLIGENCE to be above average qbs but most teams are incredibly STUPID!
It’s not difficult. The Patriots are running the same defense they always do. They gamble and when you gamble eventually you lose. The equation is simple against the Patriots. Solve their defense and you win the game.
"they had the game firmly in command with 6 min left" bruh it was a 3 pt lead even if they hit the FG seattle only needed a TD to win and kicked the equilizer on 2nd down with 2 TOs in hand are these guys insane or just gaslighting the audience??
Take away those 2 BS P.I which resulted in scores and a coverage breakdown from dugger, this game would’ve been 20-6. Let’s not overreact and act like we didn’t Shoot ourselves in the foot
Macdonald hired Stalions to steal the Pats signs 😂 nah bro, Macdonald is just better than Mayo. You guys got out coached. You won the rushing battle and time of possession but lost the game. Seattle was the better team in the 4th quarter and OT when it matters
Seattle is just better. Scary thing is that they are only getting better and will be top contender by the end of the regular season.
Seattle will be forever mediocre just like most NFL teams.
AZ Cardinals look to be the talent in their division.
Should be a good fight all season, I think.

Yeah, Geno was on fire not a single off target throw when he dropped back 40+ times 💀

4 dropped passes by seattle. They don't drop those, and its a different game. They were lucky they had the field goal close game.
Once Seattle took away Jacoby’s binky (Henry,) it was over.

We don’t live in a world of “should of, could of.” We live in a world of what is. Seattle won. End of story. Step down, next case.
I see where this is going .
seattle would have beat them no matter what
You already got a run game and a defense. Get a QB. Makes you head coach look a whole lot better.
