Nice video! My dad has the same one and it has worked great for him! I recently got the Platinum 24 SHO that I’m looking forward to using. Unfortunately we haven’t gotten much snow yet..
My manual says fuel capacity 2 quarts. It's enough to do at least my entire driveway and walkways, probably an hour or so? I'll have to time it this year and find out!
@@taillighttapegarage5816 Thank you so much for the helpful info! I have the same model and didn't realize it held that much, hard to tell when it's full.
@@chelsi227 I ran the machine for 1.5hrs and it still has fuel so I'd say it's good for somewhere near 2hrs on a tank. Snow was about 10" deep, not wet or packed.
Ariens dual stage snowblowers are workhorses in my opinion... the only thing that holds them back is the unreliability of the Chinese LCT engine... it's too damn finicky.
@@taillighttapegarage5816 I bought an Ariens Sno-Tek 24 with a 208cc engine back in 2014. With the exception of one year, I've had issues with the engine. Even though I started draining all the gas out, I still couldn't get it to start without taking it to a shop. Last winter I started using VP ethanol free gas, and I didn't have starting issues, but I'll see about the upcoming winter season. Maybe the LCT AX engine version is built differently than the ones put on the cheaper models, but since both versions are Chinese made, you just don't know what the hell you're getting from them. Good luck with your machine.

How much gas does the tank hold and around how long does it last?

The machine has served me well for 2 seasons and hopefully a few decades to come. LCT is certainly no Tecumseh, time will tell how reliability goes.
