- Hey Guys! Today I am going to be painting and customizing a pair of my white vans. Shoes are such a fun item to paint, and I have so many ideas for ways to decorate these. I hope I give you some inspiration for a fun painting project! I love making custom shoes because you can really put your own style on them and make them personal to you (even if you never actually wear them lol). This is always such a cool, creative and easy activity to do if you're bored or need to get over artist's block. You can even use this technique to upcycle some old shoes!

Hey! my name is Moriah (pronounced muh-rye-yuh 😂 ) and this is my channel....obviously. I'm 25 and like doing anything creative...and being snarky.....just a lil. I make a lot of decorating, painting and general art videos here. I'm obsessed with editing and adding lil bits to my videos, so if that's not your thing....oof you may hate this haha. I paint on squishies, thrift store finds, and other random things I pick up. I also love to draw, but don't expect anything too skilled, I'm not the best at that haha. You will also find occasional crafting/testing crafting kits on my channel which are always a hot mess. And even some baking (REALLY bad at that, but it's fun to try LOL).

Idk if you’re reading this Moriah , but have you tried sharpie shoes ? It’s where you draw patterns on shoes with sharpies and then spray it with alcohol spray and the colours bleed into each other . If you haven’t tried it can you please do it in a video

The thing I love about her is when she just makes a mistake she doesn’t cut the vid to restart she just put’s it on the vid and does not get embarrassed and I love her art and she’s always trying to be specific to what she’s drawing and try’s to get creative!😊😍🥰 love ur moriah

I love decorating shoes! I always wear mine, though lol like until they really start becoming unwearable. I've had a pair of new white shoes to decorate all year trying to decide what yo put on them!! 🙃 I can't decide...mostly because I still like the last ones I made and they're not falling apart yet 😅 but they're really starting to look kind of worn down lol

My favorite pair of her custom shoes so far
Tip: if you ever cant open the cap of a bottle, use a nutcracker (the normal steel ones). Clamp it around the cap, hold the bottle with your non-dominant hand and start twisting. Works like a charm, really good trick if you have wet/sweaty hands aswell

You could try a silicone spray! It waterproofs the shoes, if you get the right kind it won’t affect the color at all, and it makes it very easy to wipe dirt off the shoes! You do need to reapply it every so often though

After you do the clear coat when it drys you should use a scuff resister spray, so you might be able to wear them out on some occasions. Just saying, hope this helps (:
