Kerby Rosanes rocks!! You are the perfect artist to color, and share, his work.

I love Polychromos pencils. I use them with Prismas with no problems. I hope tat you use them more often in your videos.

That sea serpent may have tested your patience but he is exquisite! I think that maybe what you don't like about the water is the lack of highlights in the dark parts. Perhaps after you've had some time away from it go back with your white gel pen and add some high highlights right in that 'cradle' shaped area where the waves curve around the serpent and the moon. It will help unify the water with the lighting on the rest of the piece. And believe me, I will definitely be taking inspiration from here when I work up the nerve to try coloring him.
Also, thank you! Now I finally see what I'm doing wrong with the reflected light on the Cerberus I started when this book came out and have hated (and never finished) ever since. I went back in and put the reflected light from the flames in after I colored the dog. Oops. Now I'm tempted to re-buy the book and try him again...
Any way thank you for these videos, I love tuning in every week and definitely miss you on the weeks you don't get the chance to post.

One bite at the time is a lifesaver for me in colouring my first Kirby Rosanes books. So thank you for your tips and I will definitely look for more tips on your channel.

Wow, this is massive! You've really made it justice. Also, I don't think it was too much of a mistake not to make the highlights larger, because in my opinion it made them more intense and I really love it! Great work, as always!

Absolutely gorgeous! I love when you do videos on Kerby's books. They are my favorite! Plus, it helps to see how you tackle all the little details that he has in his artwork.

I think it looks awesome! I have used the same color palette that u used on him, lol. I just tried baby oil for the first time. I was shocked! How you can blend with it. Takes so little, and it helped on the picture I'm working on now. It's been 2 weeks! Lol. 😄 😄. I love your moon I can't wait to try on a picture. Thanks for sharing! 😉. It's a great picture.

Use green when shading red. It works, trust me! I would use Prismacolors with this though, since they blend so well. Lay down a light layer of a dark or mid tone green and put a deeper red on top. It creates beautiful shadows.
By the way, I love your videos! You color so beautifully! When you mentioned doing one section of a large area completely, how do you remember what you did? I find that I forget easily my process and have a difficult time making the image look uniform. Any advice?
