@ absolut! Jeg var alene afsted, havde mit 4. og 5. Dyk nogensinde som undervandsjæger. Norge er meget tilgivende og man kan akkumulere meget viden på kort tid. Jeg håber bestemt at skulle tilbage senere på året
The halibut shot has to be one of the best I have seen. Usually the fish try to run, but this time was dead almost instantly. Has you been perfecting your shots or just luck? Glad your are posting again. Godt nytt år!
Thanks! I’ve been reading up on where to ideally shoot them, but other than that it’s just being familiar with your gear;) it’s also easier when you see it on the bottom and can position yourself, rather than a suboptimal angle on a swimming one for instance
Always nice videos! :) How do you make sure your GoPro doesn't move too much or even fall off? No mask with GoPro mount seems to fit me, and I struggle with the big casing as it's kinda heavy and easily makes the GoPro slip off. I attach it with some monoline to make sure I can retrieve it when it happens.
Thanks! I have the head strap rather tight to not have it move around too much, same with the screw tightening the angle of the camera. My most common setup is using a Frivannsliv Vidsyn mask (any mask you like do the trick), and a GoPro head strap on top of that. I take the left “strap” of the head strap under the snorkel, which results in the head strap not falling off easily. Even if it looses, it always hangs on the snorkel afterwards. I think Daniel Mann has a video showing this:)
Really nice video, always enjoy your work.😊 Is it even possible to find okey fish in lone 10 meters of water if I would like yo try spearfishing in norway? I think 10m is my limit for now. 😂
Thanks! All the cods except for the biggest one, and I think all the smaller halibuts were shot in less than 10 meters depth:) that’s the great thing in Norway, it’s quite beginner friendly, and no need to push limits!
Minstemål er 84cm uansett fangstmåte, stemmer det! Den første var for liten med 80cm blank, men resten var greie. 84cm kveite ser overraskende liten ut, særlig ved siden av torsker fra 5kg og oppover
The strongest current in the world!!!?? Look strong when it's running but then you can spearfish . You will get dragged down in big down current. . I know places in indo everybody as strong n in west Australia..
Feel free to google it, Tom Scott also has a video about it:) but as mentioned in the video, the current was ridiculously slow this weekend due to the moon phase. I’m also not sure how “strong” is defined in the case of currents, but it’s a nice title;)
It’s crazy! Not even close to the place it got shot. If you pause at the right moment you can see it has a wound on the left side of its head, precisely where you can see it get shot earlier
Fish and seafood is a large part of my diet. I believe it’s better to catch my own food rather than buying farmed fish or fish from a trawling fleet, or do you disagree?
@AkselOrstavik saltstrumen was a brilliant fishing camp until spearfishing came now it's over run with them and you shoot all breeding fish which is why they is dieing stocks now ,hardly any cod because you have shot all the large female's with thousands of eggs also you are selling them all for money so no I totally disagree with you and why you carnt stop at the camp any more should be banned the fish have no chance at all least the anglers can put them back you kill everything it's a disgusting don't know what you actually get out of it it's not right at all
It's about time you recorded a video. Have a great time and nice catches.👍👍👏👏👏
Thanks Daniel! Been a busy autumn, but finally had the time:)
Felt the same. 😂🎉
First time viewer of your channel, loved this video and subscribed. This looks so peaceful, I'm jealous!
Thanks! The Norwegian waters are amazing;)
I laughed out loud at the ending.
Happy New Year!

@AkselOrstavik sweet. Are tourist allowed to just go spearfish? Or do one need a permit of some kind? 😊
@ you’re allowed! You may have to register somewhere (a bit unsure), and there’s currently a limit of 18kg fish to bring out of the country
@@AkselOrstavik will look in to it. Heard something about that rule. But I will be happy IF I get a fish. 😂

Hi, i need the captain's contact,thank's.

Ble gira på å teste undervannsjakt nå🤩 Bra film!🍿
Takk! Vil anbefale det på det varmeste, fantastiske opplevelser og fersk sjømat venter🙌
