I’m an old man who was playing this game when it was first released in the arcades. This young lady did a great job of explaining the game and this specific iteration. And she has a great personality and refreshing enunciation.
I remember going to some of the big local arcades in the 1980s. Some fun stuff. Then it all started going to home games. Before that pinball and a slice of pizza. . You have a great sense of humor. Fun videos. I wish I knew some women like you when I was younger.

Are you still buying these 1/4 scale arcade machines they increased the prices $150 more I stopped buying them in the beginning the prices were good and were fair but now numskull is going to far

Neet machine, very light looking and portable, hook a couple of straps on that bad boy, throw it on your back and you'll be the coolest kid on the block. Once heard that there are 3 routes to clear a pacman screen and if you know them and when to apply them you can easily beat the game. So what are you waiting for, put on a pair of OJ Simpson glove and give it a go.
Your right it’s the best mini Pac-Man the others are trash some with Nintendo 8 bit graphics and the worst the coleco version in 1980 where it says it plays the same it sounds the same it was all lies
Maybe you can help me if you see this i have been trying for years to figure out what this yoy line was. They were cars and you could put a plastic key in the back of each vehicle where turning it left or right would pop out weapons on the cars. I remember a black lincoln type car where missle launchers would pop out of the sides and like a big machine gun would pop out of the top. I cant find them anywhere :(

Joust by Williams. It was fun as hell! My 1st job was working at an arcade here in Arizona. I started all of the games up everyday and shut them down at closing. Yup! I was there from start to finish. I got to empty the games, 6 tokens for a dollar. I had the Dream Job at 14 years old! LoL. And I was actually the best at PacMan, Joust, Super Hang-On and Donkey Kong. My Boss would change out a chip, add more ram and BAM! It was a whole new game! He just had to get the controller board and it was making money! He was into electronics. Very cool video! The PacMan unit looks Dead On like the original, minus one thing. The joystick isn't size proportional. :) I still want one! Waaaaa!
I have to call "b.s." on that being the ORIGINAL Pac-Man game. At best, it's a remastered version of the game. Why do I say that? Because in the original game, the joystick wasn't NEARLY that responsive! Many a time did I lose My 'Man to a ghost simply because when I told him to turn he didn't listen & just kept going in the original direction - to his death, every time - because it would always take at least 1.5 seconds for the game to respond to My input. Now, granted, that was largely due to 1980 computer technology - what little of it there was - & you could say that this was the original the way it was MEANT to be played, but it still won't give you that authentic 1980's game feel because it's running off of 2019-20 technology. Of course, the irony is it's that self-same tech improvement shown in your un-boxing here that's the very reason why I do so horrible playing that game nowadays. That one & Ms. Pac-Man (Which you could argue was one of the first instances of the Ultra-Feminist/SJW movement rearing its ugly head, because why did we even need a female version? And why - if we were going to go that route - wasn't it called Pac-Woman or Pac-Gal or something like that?) as well. I'd gotten so used to the input delay that when Pac-Man came out for the Atari 2600 gaming console I could play it for 3 -> 4 hours straight before losing My last life. Now, with it moving when I tell it to instead of when it damn well pleases? I can barely go for 20 maps - & sometimes even less - before dying the final death. How crazy is that! Incidentally, if you want to see other 1980's computers in action, look up "Small Wonder" here on TH-cam. From what I can tell, they may have the entire series about a robot girl being made & getting her to fit in with her human "family." I was watching the first episode where the "Dad" is programming "V.I.C.I." (Pronounced "Vicki.") & just looking at the computer he was using to do that almost felt like I was staring through a time-window at an ancient Egyptian planning out how to build the Sphinx for crying out loud! It was honestly one of the cringiest things I'd ever seen, & - quite frankly - made Me remember what it was like to LIVE in that era - since I was born in 1981 - & pissed Me off at the Millennial generation all over again because they have no clue how good they have it today! But enough ranting. I thoroughly enjoyed watching you "nerd out" over the arcade game. I'd actually like to see a mini-arcade game like that but one that had the entire Atari 2600 game catalog in it. Not just the Bandai games, but all of them. Joust in particular. And then, do the same for Nintendo, Super Nintendo, & Sega Genesis games, as well. (Though the last two may be a little more complex than you could translate into an arcade game, what with their [L] & [R] triggers, after all.)
The first time I saw a 'Puck Man' machine was in June of 1981 at a supermarket in Santa Cruz California. The thing that caught my eye was the work 'Puck'. At first glance I thought it said 'Fuck' and I was thinking no way. I quickly realized it said 'Puck', and of course I went over to check it out and played it for about an hour. I was instantly hooked.
$169-189 is a lot for a very small cabinet. $75-100 would probably be a better price range, I think. A few hundred dollars more and you can get an Arcade1up cabinet with: 3 or 4 arcade games on it, original arcade cabinet art, volume control and feels like the real experience of the original arcades. The only drawback is that some Arcade1up don't have a light up marquee. Of course having a 5 foot arcade machine, if you have the riser, requires a lot more space - it's more of a piece of furniture really. I think the novel size of these mini arcade machines is good for some people and for the space limited person; however, I think at the end of the day, these things will just gather dust in the corner. The wow factor will wear off pretty fast. They are just too small.
I would love to see Burger Time, Mappy, Spy Hunter, Bubble Bobble, and Paperboy. All these games and more stole my quarters in the 80's so playing them with unlimited plays on a miniature version is kinda like payback in a miniature way.
Numskull should bring the one that both Ms Pac-Man and Galaga reunion that actually unlock Pac-Man cabinet besides Super Pac-Man and cocktail arcade version

I play Ms. Pac-Man in a Pac-Man table-top half cabinet (with Jamma platform) with my dog mentor! The mini arcade is much more affordable though... cool!
So many classics. Moon patrol, terra cresta, defender, space invaders (obvs), elevator action, xevious, galaxian or galaga, outrun or turbo outrun, daytona and many more.
Nice, but I prefer the Arcade 1UP countercade, the 17inch partycade, or the 3/4 version. These versions have much better ergonomics. They don't as faithful, but play much better, which is the point. The countercade has been reduced to $99, which is cheaper than the numbskull version. The 3/4 scale version can be found reduced to $75-$100 at Walmarts. The partycade is sold out, but had 3 games, including Galaga. This version is more for collectors, and not for playing. It would be fun to play for awhile, and would end up on a shelf. The countercade has 2 games (including pac n pal), the 3/4 has pac-man plus on it also. later -1

My favorite arcade games are Heavy Barrel and Spacegun. They made a mini arcade of Heavy Barrel but it was a port from the NES. The arcade version uses a rotary joystick and I guess they didnt want to fiddle with that.

Of course, the irony is it's that self-same tech improvement shown in your un-boxing here that's the very reason why I do so horrible playing that game nowadays. That one & Ms. Pac-Man (Which you could argue was one of the first instances of the Ultra-Feminist/SJW movement rearing its ugly head, because why did we even need a female version? And why - if we were going to go that route - wasn't it called Pac-Woman or Pac-Gal or something like that?) as well. I'd gotten so used to the input delay that when Pac-Man came out for the Atari 2600 gaming console I could play it for 3 -> 4 hours straight before losing My last life. Now, with it moving when I tell it to instead of when it damn well pleases? I can barely go for 20 maps - & sometimes even less - before dying the final death. How crazy is that!
Incidentally, if you want to see other 1980's computers in action, look up "Small Wonder" here on TH-cam. From what I can tell, they may have the entire series about a robot girl being made & getting her to fit in with her human "family." I was watching the first episode where the "Dad" is programming "V.I.C.I." (Pronounced "Vicki.") & just looking at the computer he was using to do that almost felt like I was staring through a time-window at an ancient Egyptian planning out how to build the Sphinx for crying out loud! It was honestly one of the cringiest things I'd ever seen, & - quite frankly - made Me remember what it was like to LIVE in that era - since I was born in 1981 - & pissed Me off at the Millennial generation all over again because they have no clue how good they have it today!
But enough ranting. I thoroughly enjoyed watching you "nerd out" over the arcade game. I'd actually like to see a mini-arcade game like that but one that had the entire Atari 2600 game catalog in it. Not just the Bandai games, but all of them. Joust in particular. And then, do the same for Nintendo, Super Nintendo, & Sega Genesis games, as well. (Though the last two may be a little more complex than you could translate into an arcade game, what with their [L] & [R] triggers, after all.)

The first time I saw a 'Puck Man' machine was in June of 1981 at a supermarket in Santa Cruz California. The thing that caught my eye was the work 'Puck'. At first glance I thought it said 'Fuck' and I was thinking no way. I quickly realized it said 'Puck', and of course I went over to check it out and played it for about an hour. I was instantly hooked.

$169-189 is a lot for a very small cabinet. $75-100 would probably be a better price range, I think. A few hundred dollars more and you can get an Arcade1up cabinet with: 3 or 4 arcade games on it, original arcade cabinet art, volume control and feels like the real experience of the original arcades. The only drawback is that some Arcade1up don't have a light up marquee. Of course having a 5 foot arcade machine, if you have the riser, requires a lot more space - it's more of a piece of furniture really. I think the novel size of these mini arcade machines is good for some people and for the space limited person; however, I think at the end of the day, these things will just gather dust in the corner. The wow factor will wear off pretty fast. They are just too small.
I would love to see Burger Time, Mappy, Spy Hunter, Bubble Bobble, and Paperboy. All these games and more stole my quarters in the 80's so playing them with unlimited plays on a miniature version is kinda like payback in a miniature way.
Numskull should bring the one that both Ms Pac-Man and Galaga reunion that actually unlock Pac-Man cabinet besides Super Pac-Man and cocktail arcade version

I play Ms. Pac-Man in a Pac-Man table-top half cabinet (with Jamma platform) with my dog mentor! The mini arcade is much more affordable though... cool!
So many classics. Moon patrol, terra cresta, defender, space invaders (obvs), elevator action, xevious, galaxian or galaga, outrun or turbo outrun, daytona and many more.
Nice, but I prefer the Arcade 1UP countercade, the 17inch partycade, or the 3/4 version.
These versions have much better ergonomics. They don't as faithful,
but play much better, which is the point.
The countercade has been reduced to $99, which is cheaper than the numbskull version.
The 3/4 scale version can be found reduced to $75-$100 at Walmarts.
The partycade is sold out, but had 3 games, including Galaga.
This version is more for collectors, and not for playing. It would be fun to play for awhile,
and would end up on a shelf.
The countercade has 2 games (including pac n pal), the 3/4 has pac-man plus on it also.

My favorite arcade games are Heavy Barrel and Spacegun. They made a mini arcade of Heavy Barrel but it was a port from the NES. The arcade version uses a rotary joystick and I guess they didnt want to fiddle with that.

I have Galaga 1.4’th scale and the Ms. Pac-Man counter cade arcade I love ❤️ them they are the right size for me I don’t have the space for a big arcade in my apartment.

I'd love to own a House of the Dead with big screen and blackout curtains from Sega. Mini arcades should be made with different skins so u can have multiple games and deck out the machine in different ways

I prefer the wall hanging arcade 1up console that has Pac-Man and super Pac-Man. Mame32 will always be the best tho.
If they ever make Joust or Burger Time - I'm all in! Although I'm kinda keen on Ms. PacMan because of the varied mazes. My ex-wife and I back in the day used to duel each other on Ms. PacMan at the laundry mat, and she ALWAYS beat the crap out of me on it! LoL
