Ahh holidays had us slacking but we have 2 more videos on the chopping block ready for the next few weeks! Its given us a head start for our production schedule!
When I climb a dihedral, I expect to be using the wall with either my hands or feet on about 70-90% of the moves. Not like a lay back or arete type move, but more one where you need to simply use the wall to stabilize the move. It is definitely more about stability than hand strength.
This is the truth and sometimes why setting in a dihedral can be tricky! If you don’t utilize the stemming wall properly the climber will do that for you.
While we are setting normal hours and we have more people in the gym we require masks. It’s advised to wear a mask even when there is not a pandemic due to all the airborn particles of chalk, rubber and flesh. This is purely for the camera and our sound quality. You may not be able to hear it in the video (at least I worked very hard to make sure you can’t) we have an exhaust fan running pumping air out of the gym! Great question though and thanks for watching.
Yeees!! I was just wondering where you guys were!! Glad things are good! Excited for this series!

Serious question... do you not wear masks while you're setting at all, or is it just for the camera?
