MusicMan Sabre Classic Review and Demo

Hello! Today I'm checking out a MusicMan Sabre Classic, graciously loaned by Low-end Lobster / lowendlobster . This is based on the first bass MusicMan came out with after the StingRay, and unfortunately, is no longer in production. Should you grab one if you see one? Watch the video and let me know!

What an awesome bass! A shame it's discontinued. They should really bring it back! Maybe as a Sterling Classic so it's a little more approachable, and add a 5-string version. Even though I already have a bass that can deliver MM and Fender sounds very convincingly (Clover Apeiron H.5, German made with Delano TheHybrid electronics), I'd be really tempted to get one!

Excellent education on this MM Sabre Classic! (subjectively) I love the combo of the neck and a bit of the bridge myself... low end rumble with a touch of melodic drive on top. Anyway the audio, your vocal lapel with the bass mix is wonderful in post production... Carry On!
