- John Dukakis: aka ‘Polo’
Dukakis was born John Chaffetz Jr. in San Jose, California but reared in the Boston area. He is the son of Kitty Dukakis and John Chaffetz, a businessman, and the adoptive son of former Massachusetts Governor and 1988 Democratic presidential nominee Michael Dukakis whom his mother married when he was five. His half-brother, through his biological father, is Jason Chaffetz who was a U.S. Representative from Utah from 2009 to 2017.

I saw this in theater. I had the biggest crush on him. 😍 Everyone else was fighting over Mike and Larry, but he was the one for me. I always watch Jaws and Jaws II back to back. 🦈 ⛵️

Yup. Michael and Kitty Dukakis of Massachusetts, although he was adopted by Michael Dukakis. John was not blood related to Michael.
These interviews I'm sure are on the upcoming 4k release of jaws 2.
They are absolutely fascinating from what I've seen so far.
They’re not on the new 4K release, but should have been. They are just as good or better than what was carried over from the old Blu-ray release.

Adoptive son yeah. His mother remarried when he was 5 years old.
I was about 14 or 15 when this came out. My best friend and I saw it twice at movie theater. As a person in a previous comment said, I had such a big crush on him! We didn't have the internet back then so I didn't know a whole lot about him. I do remember seeing him on Little House on the Prairie. Some people change so much as they get older that you may not recognize them but he still looks basically the same. Still handsome!😊😍

Sad, but important lesson for everyone, from most of the JAWS 2 cast here.
Don't lay in the fierce heat of the sun's radiation for hours on end, even amplifying it with a reflector, to get that 'dream' tan.

Nice interview👍. Just discovered your Chan here. Love it. Sooo glad u asked him about THE SCENE with the sled shark. To me the second best shark shot in the entire franchise. Second only to the Jaws full front assault where Bruce lands on the boat. That’s tops of course.

I loved Polo! He was so cute and smooth - he seemed older than the other kids.
The Polo character was odd. I don't think we saw him at all in the movie until the bar scene where we are also introduced to Patrick and Lucy.
It’s possible there were more scenes featuring certain characters that were cut from the final print.
A shame because he was the hottest tho Mark Gruner wasn't far behind.
I was 11 years old when Jaws 2 came out. Just like the first Jaws movie my dad took me to see it because it was PG 13. It was a great movie, but I have to say. the original Jaws was the best and the shark was much more realistic looking. I however loved both movies!

Polo and Bob pulling Mike out of the water is so underrated. The only thing that ruined it was the shark looked too rubbery they could have avoided that.

I love to see Mark Gruner interviewed, mostly because his character Clark Tyson is the reason Jan Brady invented her imaginary boyfriend, George Glass. 😂
