@korgkeyboardpro Yes, you can control the rotary speaker effect with a footswitch, the joystick, or the dedicated ORGAN SLOW/FAST button. The keys on the PS60 are full-size.
Sure! The PS60 has MIDI input/output so you can use it as a controller for any external piece of MIDI gear or software. Thanks for watching! - Dave McCullough Kraft Music Marketing (800)783-3368
@vibestouch1 Thanks for your interest in Kraft Music and the Korg PS60. Yes, you can split and layer simultaneously. For example, an electric piano/strings layer in the upper register, and a synth bass in the lower. From the PS60 manual "This means that when using split settings, you can use a total of up to twelve timbres: six timbres in the upper keyboard region and six timbres in the lower keyboard region." Yes, the keys on the PS60 are touch sensitive…the harder you play, the louder the sound. Thanks for watching! - Dave McCullough Kraft Music Marketing (800)783-3368
@dermot51 It's mainly a performance keyboard, and there's no arpeggiator or sequencer on this instrument. Thanks for watching! - Dave McCullough Kraft Music Marketing (800)783-3368
Thanks so much for the (more) detailed video. I appreciate it. Perhaps you'll also do a vid on more of the voices. Would like to hear all options for ORGAN, BRASS, and SYNTH. Also can I assume with the Foot Switch output you can control the Leslie on/off? Are the keys of regular size, not shrunk like on the X50? Thanks again for the demo. Korg USA is doing very little to promote this unit.
@Joobsmon Thanks for watching! I would say that if you intend on recording and sequencing with your computer the PS60 would give you a nice selection of sounds to work with. The PS60 would integrate well with any computer-based studio. If you want to do sequencing on the keyboard, you'd need a workstation. Please feel free to contact me with any other questions or concerns. - Dave McCullough Kraft Music Marketing (800)783-3368
ive been asking this question alot of times but cant seem to get a answeer. can you edit all synth paramiters in the editor. and is there room to save them on the ps60 whitout having to delete a existing preset?
Excellent review Rich! Korg is going to sell a lot of these units.., (along with the MicroStation). I'm considering a PS-60. I have the Roland Juno-Di at the moment. Had it for just over a year and the joystick is already giving me problems.
i havea question i had a korg x50 and im realy glad of that synth, but what is different with this ps60 and mine, ok i had recornice easier to have sounds when you play in orkestra, but it is alot of diffrent sounds and comination or ?
I bought one a week ago and sounds fantastic. The thing is i cannot find an "Orchestra Hit" which is a necessity.. Does this really have it? And i saw there is a software version of in. Is it possible that that patch will be included in the update? Thank you!!
really thinking of getting one!!! but can it split and layer at the same time? really would like to know. i am gigging musician i just want a keys that split and layer different sounds reggae!

@jacamaca123 Hi, Thanks for your interest in Kraft Music and the Korg PS60. I think this instrument is definitely geared towards live performance, but you could certainly use it in a home or studio environment. The PS60 has great sounds and it's really user friendly. Please feel free to contact me with any other questions or concerns. Thanks for watching! - Dave McCullough Kraft Music Marketing (800)783-3368
Hi Rich and staff.... I usually like to layer guitar-strings-brazz sounds. PS60 advantage is that one can layer on the fly by selecting the sounds to play. However, one has to the go the extreme knob#6 to access the guitar sounds, so it eliminates the advantage of PS60 for me. Now, can you remap the knobs and install the guitar and other most favorite sounds (on-the-fly) to the first 5 knobs for direct access to them? Please help .... thanks Ed
can someone tell me if this is a good keyboard to use in a band? and can i also use for my own, or is this keyboard made specificly for live performance? thanks
@bluesjeph Hi, The current price of the Korg PS60 is $599 and we include free ground shipping to the continental US. Please feel free to contact me with any other questions or concerns. - Dave McCullough Kraft Music Marketing (800)783-3368

1:18 .. because the sound engine is derived from the m3 and the m50 we know its gonna sound good.. thats such a big big lie... the word derived is the first reason, derived can mean so many things.. and secondly, what about the dacs, 12 bit dacs, and the hardware itself? come on!!!!
@korgkeyboardpro Yes, you can control the rotary speaker effect with a footswitch, the joystick, or the dedicated ORGAN SLOW/FAST button. The keys on the PS60 are full-size.
Same !!! I've got an x50 and I like it but this looks awesome too :)

have a question, this keyboard has guitar sounds, or any other instrument besides the 6 buttons
Can you use this as a controller for an external synth such as Roland JV-1080? Sorry for my ignorance, but I´m just new at this

Does the sound (sustained) stop if I switch between banks/patches?
Does the PS60 work with Reason 5 as a usb controller?
I still think Korg has the best pianos. Despite Yamaha actually making real pianos, the Korg sound always appeals more to me.

No. Yamaha builds all levels of product that beat Kurzweil products in every imaginable way.
Both are cheap toys. The only company still building quality mid range boards is Kurzweil. Just bought pc361 for 960.
