    Imagine all the other costs associated with this property! You would have to have a TEAM of gardeners for example. A maintenance TEAM, maid staff, chef and kitchen staff, a general manager or two, etc etc! Oh, and of course, a security TEAM! WOW!

      Alpine is a gated community. I lived in the same county and the one thing everyone agreed on is that Alpine is only for the really rich people. The kids in that town all go to a private school. I remember during Halloween, my friends and I would always go to Alpine cause they gave the best things. One house gave mp3 players and this was in 2007! What I'm trying to say here is that, if you can live in Alpine, you can afford maids.

    Biggest lie from the realtor: "less than 30 minutes from downtown Manhattan." That's interesting, because we live in the first town over the GWB in NJ (Fort Lee), and it still takes 15-30 mins on average just to get over the bridge to UPPER Manhattan. Driving up to Alpine from Fort Lee takes another 10 minutes in of itself. Even if you were commuting at 2AM in no traffic, you could "possibly" do it in 45 minutes. During rush hour? Try 1 1/2 hours or more.

    • @johannesr9166

    • @BionicWoman1975

      Alpine is definitely not 45 min.-1 1/2 hours from Manhattan. I'm a Native New Yorker who lives in Bergen county, 15 minutes away from Alpine. Geographically, Alpine is 8 miles from NY. You must be in some serious rush hour traffic or taking a different route, if you can't get over the GW from Fort Lee or Alpine, in 45 or more.

      @andrecanuck5656 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You wouldn't believe the no name, not so famous people who have that kind of money especially people from the Auto manufacturing, internet cable T.V. and computer world, These people are worth mega millions then there are the Investors from other countries etc. There's also a lot of old handed down money in California, rich parents pass away, kids inheriting entire fortunes, parents bought their mansions 20 to 30 yrs ago for a million or 2, now today same mansion worth $30 to 40 million. Not counting all of the cash parents had in stocks, bonds etc.

    • @oDeXyModz
      @oDeXyModz 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Andre Landry exactly. My dad designed computer systems on Wallstreet and those guys lived in houses like this. All types of famous people would walk in there and people that buy a house like this is more of an investment not live in. We lived in a large house ourselves and when you think about it when you can afford it you buy it. So something like this for someone wealthy isn’t a stretch nor will they have a mortgage lmao

    • @andrecanuck5656
      @andrecanuck5656 6 ปีที่แล้ว

A lot of dishonest people take advantage of non-english speaking people with this.

It's like adding a swimming pool to a ranch house and leaving the kitchen and baths with 1980 fixtures! Nuts! Bet it never sell for that much. Commute in 30 minutes? Sure, by private whirleybird! For this price, I'd rather not be known. It's not a good idea to build a $50,000,000 house in an area where house prices are $5,000,000.

    It would be placed better as a hospital. Make it a lying-in Hospital for birth only. Then you can expand the other hospitals for critical care. It's a disgusting waste of time and money

    Difficult to sell because it is huge. High maintenance. Too big to clean. Also high property tax and insurance. Unless of course you make multi millions a year.

    Anyone willing to pay more than $500 per square foot of living space for this thing is completely stupid. I don't think it's even worth that much, considering the square footage comps for other mansions in Alpine. It's down to 36M and it's still way too much. The owner will be lucky if anyone pays more than 15M for it. It probably cost around a million bucks a year just to live in that monstrosity.

    No wonder no one can afford that house the taxes are insane it doesn't matter if they sell the house for 50 dollars the average person or even celebrity can't afford 300,000 a year on a house. No matter how much you sell it for the house is valued above the sale price so you will pay 50,000,000 dollar taxes on a house you paid 50 dollars for it's outrageous
