Bro you don’t know how much I needed this video. I nearly lost my life in August after getting in a head-on collision and I’m still trying to walk on my own without a walker. This just gave me so much fuel. RIP Bean. 🐍🙏🏽
How you doing bro?
@@Angelo27 Back on my feet and thriving man I’m so blessed. Still working on getting my sprint back up to par but other than that no complaints bro.
@@brianbusogi2832 love to hear that. You’ll be back at it in no time
@@brianbusogi2832 hope ur doing well now bro
Hope you are doing well bro, keep pushing !!!
I don’t know why but I started tearing up. Kobe was different, Kobe was special, Kobe was Kobe.
Yeah i hade injurys but this one its a small chance your going back
Kobe’s mentality was just different! I’m currently 6 months post right Achilles tendon repair surgery and I’ve watched this video practically everyday since I started my recovery. Such an underrated video of yours and very motivating. I ruptured my Achilles 6 months ago while playing basketball and I’m back on the court running and gaining my strength back!
Stay strong man, go for it from pure internal motivation not just from videos and you'll be there.
So painful just WATCHING him play through that injury man..it sucks to see a fighter like him not being here anymore.
Everybody misses Kobe Bryant 😢
This man never died. His body is gone but his spirit is alive and it lives and breathes in all who are strong enough to feel it. Never give up on ur dreams. Or else they will just be dreams.
After a few years, still hurt a lot just to see videos with him and i can't even watch nba properly anymore. It feels like its never gonna heal.
Kobe WHYYYY
Just tore my achilles an hour ago. Kobe will be my inspiration!!
How are you doing now? A year about. I tore mines 2 days ago.
@@htxabdo2132 ruptured my ankle yesterday man. Good luck to you and I
Also wondering how you're doing now. Tore mine 2 weeks ago
I tore mine two days ago, same reason. Kobe left a legacy not only from his mentality on the court, but even from his low points when he was injured, especially this one
How did you guys tear it? We're there any signs you were going to? How's recovery going?
Loved the Curry video and not because Im a curry fan but genuinely. Imagine 2 consecutive videos hitting 1 mil views. Keep making the videos bro love them
Peens huge
This is a criminally underrated masterpiece
This is why there will never be another Kobe Bryant his love of the game his work ethic these were 2nd to none he will forever be my GOAT Rest In Peace KOBE
this man walked to his bench, back to the free throw line to shoot his shots and then out the arena without any assistance... he was just different
I’m 3 month post op! I tore my achilles August 13th playing Flag Football. I’m a ex-Professional athlete as well. But at 56yrs old?!?! We heal a lot differently now. I’m now waking without the boot or Crutches🙏 But the road to recovery is still long.
I hope you did it. Fingers crossed after I read this comment ❤
I hope your recovery is holding up brother.
This was an amazing piece Double D. Really got me motivated before my practice. thank you
The master piece is finally out...and I absolutely loved it. Especially how you started off with his injury because that really was a turning point in his career. I was expecting a banger, but I got double that! Nice DoubleD!
Edit: and overall just the display, the clear footage, the overall persona of this video gave me chills and his road back was, a damn hard one.
Simply fantastic.
Once again, thanks for honoring Kobe with your gift.
This really picked me up and my mindset going forward. Truly my favorite player of all time after Jordan. Got to meet him twice and beautiful human being. RIP mamba
Double D is going to blow up if he continues these quality of videos, and he always backs up his opinions with credible facts. It’s only up from here!
Honestly. Kobe’s 2012 - 2013 season might be his best season ever. Yes better than his MVP season and 2006
No lmao
Absolutely loved this video! Thank you so much!
Kobe you are a star to look for, your work ethic inspires us to always get the job done as you say and I really feel you're alive, at least for me , you are alive.
I just sprained my ankle the worst it’s ever been. I’ve only been skateboarding for 7 months and I’ve progressed faster than any of my peers around me in the short amount of time I fell in love with this life 🛹. This injury won’t stop me from coming back and landing the trick that took me down. I WILL COME BACK AND J WILL BE BETTER THAN I WAS BEFORE. RIP Kobe, never knew what he went thru until I saw this video and I believe he’s my first athletic hero. This video and man taught me more in twenty mins than I could’ve ever learned on my own in my own life doing what I do. Thank you Kobe. You’re gone but never forgotten.
Yea this a dope video love the content 💪🏾
Great vid man. Loved it
Just tore my Achilles last week. Going in for surgery tomorrow, this is exactly what I needed to see.
Going into this with #mambamentality
Time to go to work!
I am already 5 weeks post. surgery...suggestion is - try to stay horizontal as much as possible, get help while walking...it is long journey
Ohhh please! You are NOT KOBE! Unless u kick the bucket then u are him 🥰
Stop crying
I'm at week 9 tomorrow. walking pretty well. start stretching next week..
@@dicktomasko1553 hope ur recovery is going well. I’m at about 4 weeks post surgery. I have a 2 year old and I’m wondering, do u think it will be possible for me to carry him around walking at the 9 or 10 week mark?
The way he shoot those last free throw against GSW.
It's all wrist action,no more legs.
Because he knew it.
But the courage to stand and walk alone to the free throw line.
Even though the pain in his left foot.
Much love and respect brother.🤝 I tore my Achilles back in Dec 2011. I knew the challenge you'd face would be arduous and grueling. Even though the odds were against you, you never ran away from it. You embraced the challenge and overcame fear.💪 I did the same things you were doing to recover. I truly respect your mental fortitude and resolve.🤝 Although you may be gone... you will always be remembered. Rest peacefully my brother.🙏🙏🙏
Masterpiece of a video my bro..how did I miss this video in all my watching of Kobe related videos. Sorry I'm late but got yourself a sub. Legendary video for a legendary player.
You earned my subscription because of Kobe. Keep it up :)
Thanks for this documentary, even as a Celtic fan 🙏🏾🙏🏾
I just want to say one thing, thank you for this !
Tore my ACL about 3 weeks ago, been super down and frustrated. This video and the work getting back is my therapy
As a person who ruptured Achilles during a basketball game, (type 3/4) I admire Kobe so much.
It's been 3 months and I am slowly starting to walk, but I always looked up to Kobe Achilles rehab as an example.
Mamba mentality!
Keep grinding brotha. Tore mines a month ago. We will be back
Upd 5 month after the op.
I can walk and even run in a walk tempo. Each step is followed with a slight pain. Doctor said it's ok. Foot is swallen and pain is growing after long distance walking. Still don't have the full previous ROM and the reason for that is huge scar tissue and attrophy. Hopefully will be back in shape till summer.
@@mikewillfybn i wish you easy ans speedy recovery man
You are so underappreciated man
Love ya vids double D! Can you make a klay Thompson version of his injury journey when he returns mid next season.
This one gone do numbers brotha
Bro this video is so good man
Double d back with the heat.
I was expecting the shot at 18:01 to go bank un then I remembered this is KOBE he don’t need no backboard
It actually went glass, but I get your point. Kobe a killa
Amazing video man 🤝
This is an amazing video
great video bro!!
This was absolutely amazing. Everyone needs to watch this. Kobe was a superhero, but he gave us all the keys to become superheroes ourselves. Thank you, Double D.
Part 2 pleaseeeeeeee? It's a banger
HOW?? JUST HOW??, I could see littelary felt the pain by just watching the video😭
My mans a legend... R.I.P KOBE♥️
watching this bright tears to my eyes. LLMAMBA.
The pressure was on him
When he landed at NBA everybody expected him to be the face.of the team.
He played his entire career being a copetitive player.
He push himself to the limits.
That's mamba mentality that no player ever had
Goat. 🙏🏾
What a Legend!!!
Inspiring video 🐍♾️
Good stuff!
Kobe was just different, thats about the best i can come up with.
Watching as I got for surgery on my Achilles Monday
Goat 🐐...Kobe is the true Goat.
Just tore my Achilles a week ago and scheduled for surgery this Tuesday. Someone came down on my ankle while hoopin!
This video gave me motivation for the comeback! #ADVENTURESwithHAYES
Mamba Forever!
Thank God🙏🏿
Literally going through this now 🤧 this pain is wild. Feels like a shot
Hang in there. The body will heal and do what it does. It's on you to keep your mind and spirit strong. ✌🏽
Went through it myself. 3 1/2 hr surgery. Mine frayed vs a clean break.
@@mr.bread3circus I’m finally walking normal. Appreciate it. Can’t run yet but little by little
@@dj_colombian_dread9901 Awesome Bro. Glad you shared that. ✌🏽
@@dj_colombian_dread9901 hey man gore you doing these days? Would love to hear how recovery went💙
@@silase2029 a lot better. I can jog now but I can’t run like before I’m trying to stretch it for now and rub some Aloe oil plant on it. But I am good for the most part.
W vid man
Mamba mentality is a beautiful thing
I'm on same situation and surely I will be back
Always felt like there was something missing from the original Kobe Bryant Documentary: th-cam.com/video/pWnB_tAqNDE/w-d-xo.html
And this video is that
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥Beautiful work, sir. Love your channel.
You the GOAT fam! This was a masterpiece and keep exposing that haters in the media that try to diminish Steph 💪🏾
I cant believe this only has 5k views
I love you Koby. !!!!
I'm not the biggest fan of kobe but man i wish he was still alive...i appreciated him more when he retired..
Holding the pain
Heyyy big D is back
I wanted to see more of the recovery process
This video is a w
Man if he didn’t tear his Achilles he still would’ve been insanely good at his age of 35,36,37,and honestly if he took almost 2 years to heal,he would’ve came back the same.KD did the same he took 2 years off and see how he came back,1 year isn’t enough to be fully back
KD didn’t take 2 years off, it was just a long break cuz of covid
@@ZachForcier well Yeah ,he wasn’t trying to but it definitely helped a lot
Crazy, just torn my shit last week. I need this !!
how can u avoid this injury? damn
Was it a full rupture ? I came hear since I'm was looking for fysio tips for my recovery.
KOBE
goddamn.. this man.
Dam so much strain on them ankles. It could of been any one... then come back .. I love his spirit
Man was never the same after this. Glad he retired when he did.
I GOT A HEART!!!!!!
mamba 4 life
the tears man lol.....but nice vid
7:54 OUCHHHHHHHHHHH just sucks to see that..also sorre for commenting so much but i'm watching the whole video so right when i see something i just comment
It’s funny how in every tough situation top athletes go through, there’s a journalist talking nonsense… and then guys like kobe would come back and still play at the highest level.
The lesson behind it is like my mother use to say, play deaf for the criticism and the nonsense, and do whatever you have to do, period.
9:35 I litterly flinched ahhhhhhhhh man so painful
You forgot the to mention the hawks game when he came back after 2 games from a severe ankle injury. Which I truly believe he was tearing foot and Achilles area. He was literally fight through pain on some David Goggins type shit
Mamba for life. 🙏🐍 #24 #8
what if you made what if basketball videos
I just tore my Achilles playing football and needed some motivation
How are you holding up?
it isnt important. it will take just a few months and some rehabilitation. and u can try swimming or fitness for sport when u are back on foot again.
Jkjk but the goat always came thru for the squad KOBELIVES FOREVER
Was Kobe’s achilles bound to rupture eventually? Or was it a total freak injury.
Fuck we miss him! The GOAT! RIP Mamba!!! LA love!
Denver you videos recently have been really fucking good, do not stop please, shit gives me life. P.S. you suck at Apex lol.
Achillies rip but still walking dang
R.I.P. kobe bryant God The Father let his soul rest through His Son Our Lord Jesus Christ in His Holy Name amen.
Fuck We Miss You Kobe❤️
Kobe was definitely a killer. But his game was never the same after this except for his final game. Made me realize how unfair KD is after returning from the same injury
For the algorithm
2nd ????
i have given up on asking for a discord
They where being very fiscal on Kobe
Just ruptured my achilles needed some motivation... i just found out i ruptured mine the same day kobe did 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🫡🐍🐍
Kobe came back after 7 months while KD stayed out for a whole season smh
